It’s easy to see why this restaurant has earned so many five-star reviews. We visited on a weeknight for date night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere modern and inviting.

The menu offers an impressive variety—more extensive than any Indian restaurant we’ve visited—which made choosing an appetizer a delightful challenge, as everything looked tempting. We ultimately selected the rosemary naan, which was served with flavorful sauces that paired beautifully with the bread.

We then ordered cocktails, including a mint mojito and a rose colada. The portions were generous, and both drinks were expertly handcrafted—smooth, well-balanced, and delicious. We enjoyed the mojito so much that we ordered a second round. The bartender was friendly and gracious, and even went out of his way to offer our baby a complimentary mango smoothie, which was a very kind and thoughtful gesture.
We also tried the margarita. While it is made with high-quality tequila, it is not traditional and, unfortunately, lacked balance. It tasted more like straight liquor and was not very flavorful, so this is one drink I would personally pass on.

After appetizers and drinks, we moved on to dinner. It’s worth noting that Indian spice levels are significantly hotter than typical American spice levels, using a scale from 1 to 10. Although I consider myself very tolerant of spicy food, my chicken curry at a level 6 was intense and definitely had me sweating. I recommend discussing spice preferences with your server. My husband ordered the chicken vindaloo at a level 7 and found it quite hot as well, though he still loved it. Both dishes were served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Portion sizes were generous, leaving us with leftovers for the next day.

I also appreciated the elegant details throughout the restaurant—the modern table settings, beautifully handcrafted plates, and roses on each table added a subtle, refined touch. Overall, the menu is fun, versatile, and thoughtfully curated.

We had a wonderful experience, felt genuinely welcomed, and left completely satisfied. We look forward to returning for many more dinners.

Went for dinner on a weekday and ordered vegetable noodles, Tulsi Paneer, Malai Kofta, Malai naan, and laccha paratha. Everything was good except the Tulsi Paneer—it didn’t stand out or feel much different and was just okay. The Malai Kofta was really good; each kofta had solid, well-made stuffing. The Malai naan was quite heavy with cream, cheese, and butter. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

The ambience is excellent — clean, modern, and welcoming — perfect for both casual dining and get-togethers. There’s ample parking space, which is a big plus.

Being vegeterians,we tried Paneer Manchuria and Gobi Manchuria as appetizers — both were delicious and well-prepared. The Paneer Saffron Biryani, however, felt a bit overpriced, and while the flavor was good, it didn’t quite match the price point.

The service was great — the staff were humble, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. There’s also a bar seating area and a pastry section, which adds a nice touch.

I came to know that they offer a lunch buffet every day from 11 AM to 3 PM, and a happy hour from 3 PM to 6 PM. Make sure to mention that you’re there for happy hour to get a discount on food — plus, they have a buy-one-get-one-free drink offer during that time.

Overall, a great spot for authentic Indian food with a pleasant atmosphere and courteous service. Would definitely visit again!

Visited The Mint Room in Frederick, MD for their buffet and absolutely loved the experience. The food was really amazing — flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the overall quality exceeded expectations.

One small suggestion for improvement: it would be great to have a few more bread options in the buffet. Currently, butter naan is the only choice, and adding items like plain naan, garlic naan, or roti would make the buffet even better.

Overall, a fantastic place for Indian food, and I’d definitely visit again!

Mint Room Indian is hands-down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. We went for the buffet twice, and I love that they actually switch up the menu so you’re not getting the same thing every day. Every dish was packed with flavor but never overwhelming—just perfectly balanced. They also offer some really unique options like fried okra and stewed eggplant, which makes it stand out from the typical “run of the mill” buffets at other places.

The atmosphere is clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff is attentive and pleasant, always making sure drinks are full and plates are cleared quickly. While we didn’t try the à la carte menu, the buffet alone was enough to show the quality and care that goes into their food.

This is truly Indian cuisine at its best, and I’ll definitely be returning again and again.

I want to start by highlighting our waiter, Sukhnan. He truly went above and beyond to create an ideal dining experience for my husband and I. He was kind, personable, and quick to answer any questions we had. The food came in hearty serving sizes, packed with protein and bursting with flavor. The Mojito mocktails were also perfectly concocted. If you love Indian cuisine, The Mint Room is a must! There’s a reason they have such high reviews.

Service was SPECTACULAR! The best service I’ve experienced. Fantastic attention to detail that makes you feel taken care of. I got the black lentil daal, the butter naan, and gobi Manchurian. You can modify the spice level. Each dish was delicious. The best high-quality Indian food in Maryland with exceptional ambience as well. I can’t wait to come again! Bravo to the chef and the staff!
