The Mint is the place to be for dinner and a show in Victoria. Good for dates. Tickets for events are affordable and often go to charity.
Open Mic nights are my favorite. Had an amazing time at Commie Bop. The local songs and poems were fun and care free.
Mainly for a more liberal audience but theres events for everyone.
Nachos with pulled pork was huge. My mimosa was spot on. I enjoyed.

It was a quiet night and my brother and I were craving butter chicken. Him the poutine version with extra butter chicken and me the standard with naan and fried pickles. Our server was awesome she was hilarious and it was welcome and I was so happy to receive it. The best part of the night – there was this table practically screaming their conversations, I mean they were seat at the far side of the room and we could hear everything they were saying. RUDE- I was getting annoyed and at the very same moment the music turned up. I felt heard! It was magical which added to my experience!

I won a gift card to hear from the Harvest for Hope silent auction. Amazing to see this business support the local community and work to end hunger.
This place is amazing! It has the best curry platters, generous portions, lots of adds ons included, great dessert options.
The atmosphere is my style! Underground, low lighting, super laid back vibes. A nice bar. A hidden gem for sure.
Service was above and beyond. Levi accommodated some special requests with ease and a smile. Super fast and competent service! Levi was great.

Great spot for comedy with a warm atmosphere. However, a few things could be better: they often seat you at wobbly tables, and if you enjoy a standard pint of beer, this isn’t the place. They only serve smaller glasses, but their prices are comparable to a full pint. Have also been served flat beer a few times.

We had such a nice night. We came for a comedy night and while we had to buy tickets they were very reasonably priced. The food was pretty good, drinks were good too. I ordered a cocktail I didn’t like and they happily exchanged it for another. The atmosphere and service were awesome. Great job The Mint team with Ok, Dope.

Nowhere near as good as some people say. Went to a comedy night once and ordered delivery another time, and both were terrible.
The food portions were small, taste bland, and prices too high.
The washrooms were filthy. Floors and tables were sticky. The entire place smelled disgusting.
Service was slow and rude. Servers forgot orders and were condescending toward customers.
The shows were average at best. Lighting and speakers were low quality and caused headaches.
Parking was impossible to find. Street parking is always full on busy nights.

Love a place that hires a DJ specifically so… nobody can dance? I was told dancing wasn’t allowed, which was already ridiculous enough. But then the DJ jumps on the floor and dances with a guest right after. Make it make sense.
