Food was OK at best. Waitress only brought 1 water. It was noisy and poorly lite. Not my favorite place to go but it wasnt god awful either. Also, they only have Pepsi products and we all know Coke is superior.

We went for Thanksgiving buffet. All the food was good although nothing stood out. The kids seemed to have a great time… games there. Pull tabs for the grown ups.
The service was great even though we were at the tail end near closing. Go to Hartford and give them a try. I hear the fish fry is really good and reasonable.

Today The Mineshaft gets all the love. I was that “high-maintenance” customer. They happily made me an alcohol-free Bloody Mary. AND a meat-free Mushroom and Swiss. (Extra extra mushrooms to compensate.)
I always love the game room…have since my children were small. But I still do.
My family spends almost every holiday here. We enjoy the buffets and the game room (floor).

We had a great time at the game room. There are a ton of games, and my kids loved it. It seems like the prizes are better than typical as well. Plus, the food is way better than you’d expect from a place like this. The menu is huge, and the service was really exceptional. My family had a great time. My kids are 6, 8, and 11 and there are games for each of them to enjoy. Really nice bar selection as well.

A must stop every time we visit. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is fun. I recently had the fish fry with family. The fish was light and really tasty!

Above average food.
Kind and Efficient wait staff.
Families of many different persuasions were there.
On the 1st floor, a dark wood and rustic feel around the bar and dining areas, both on the 1st floor, while

The 1st floor has dark wood, and a more rustic feel to it, that continues into the dinning area. There is a stage area with another bar which looks to be an almost full service bar. The stage area seperates nicely from the mains but does bump up against the flow of traffic from the upstairs arcade.

2nd floor: Games for most ages. Good assortment. The arcade is light stained vertical pine slats that brighten the mood.

When or If you can, I suggest spending the money to get one of the larger arcade credits package. That way you will leave with something besides memories of “I almost had it!”, a few candy wrappers, and the car ride home yearning for future tickets.

We’ll be back.

Huge place! Lots of seating. Fairly loud in both the restaurant and the game area. Food was good. Reasonable prices. Fun to play some games after eating.

Always love going here with my husband and mother in law. Their breakfast buffet spread is very large with alot of little desserts. We love their pizza, mozzarella sticks and club sandwiches the most. Highly recommend going during less busy times if you have family members with disabilities that overwhelm their sense or if you just wabt a quieter meal. It can get pretty crazy.

Kids love the game room. Pizza was like rubber. Sandwich bread was dry without much meat.server came to table once with pitcher of soda and water. Delivered food. Never checked on our needs. We had to go to bar and serve ourselves more water and mustard. Servers including ours stood around talking.

Such a great experience. Grateful the server understood my gluten allergy. Not a lot of gluten-free options but what I did end up having was delicious. There’s a large game room upstairs that packs a lot of fun.
