Food: I started with the asparagus dip and the fried green tomatoes. The fried Green tomatoes were good, the asparagus dip was amazing.

Oh my catfish! Actually, it wasn’t even what I ordered, but my uncle shared. I can tell you, we both agreed it was the best catfish we’ve ever had! Like, still raving and thinking about it. The breading and the light flakey way the catfish was cooked were so impressive. We were visiting Owensboro as part of an event and went to The Miller House for both its reviews and name, the same as my uncle’s! It was a perfect meal. My meatloaf was everything I wanted, and the ample serving sizes meant more of it! The pre-dinner biscuits with sweet potato were delicious. The woman who served us was delightful. We sat outside, so I can’t speak to the inside ambiance. Our dinner at The Miller House will be a highlight of our visit. We enjoyed every bite!

Our first time there and certainly not the last. Felt very classy but in a minimalist sense. The house itself was wonderful and you know they don’t build them like that anymore. Food and service were top notch. Little expensive on the spirits. I had a single malt on the rocks for $18 and some change but it was good. Sweet potato biscuits were outstanding. I had the sirloin and the wife had the meatloaf. Both were perfect. Glad we finally were able to experience The Miller House. Well done.

I had no idea this place had a basement full of bourbon! A reservation is a must. Check it out and try a bourbon flight. I went with the bottled in bond flight. It was amazing. Shrimp and grits were on point.

I had the Steak Manhattan special for the day and it was fantastic. Wifey had the shrimp and grits that was very good. We were seated in basement bar area and it was quite an enjoyable atmosphere and nice and cool on a hot summer day. Service was excellent. This old mansion was very well restored and repurposed for a special dining experience and it did not disappoint. We will be sure to come back.

We enjoyed every aspect of this deliciousness. The hostess, server and other staff were top notch. The food was wonderful from the appetizer, salad, entrées, sides and dessert. I definitely recommend that you visit this place. (Also, one of the best French Martinis I have had)!

Starting with the house it’s located in, so beautiful and historical. Then the hostess/owner, Jeannie, was friendly and we sat and talked with her like we were family. So relaxed. She checked on us a few times. The mixed drinks are delicious, with an sufficient portion of alcohol. The sweet potato rolls are one of a kind. I’m not a bread person. I could have eaten the whooole plate. The appetizer sampler had everything we loved. Definitely recommended. The balsamic dressing was excellent. The pasta primavera, prime rib, and meatloaf were cooked perfectly and each are recommended. Our server Lindsey, an air force veteran, was super attentive. She checked on us all throughout the meal. Overall, this will always be a special occasion restaurant. It was a great place for my 2 relatives to spend their 18th anniversary.

I had no idea this place existed and was glad we had the chance to try it. The grit sticks were so good, I could’ve just ordered those. The bar downstairs is quite impressive as well, but they won’t serve you the Pappy rye ‍♀️ I also really enjoyed the roasted rosemary potatoes. Really everything is worth trying here. I don’t think you’ll find a bad dish.

Food was amazing, especially for the price. Service was top notch and we were checked on frequently. Atmosphere was really nice, except for 2 or 3 crying babies. (It happens!)
