I almost don’t want to write this review, because this place is an absolute hidden gem!
The Mill is one of my favorite places in Westfield. This is where I go when I want a good, hardy meal. The burgers are fantastic. The rest of the menu is a good selection of bar food staples, all done right. This isn’t a place that’s just running a deep fryer and slapping the same generic stuff on a flat top. This is a nice thick burger, cooked to temperature and topped with all of the good stuff. This is made-in-house ranch that tastes so good it could be used as currency.
The service here is fantastic also. This is not a bunch of fake smiles and 13 pieces of flare on a uniform. These are good people, busting their tails to make sure you have a good time.
The atmosphere captures in a bottle the great small town feel that was once Westfield. Paraphrasing the sign by the bar, there are no strangers here, only friends you have yet to meet.
If you haven’t, you have to check this place out. But don’t tell too many people; I don’t want it getting so popular that I can’t get in the door .

First time to Mills Tavern and they did not disappoint. Started with pulled pork nachos then we had a tenderlion and the club sandwich. 10 out of 10 we will be back.

Stood and waited 20+ minutes. Never got a seat. I know we came at the busiest time but multiple tables had paid and we hoped someone would now leave. But we gave up and left. Many people were waiting. Not just us. Multiple parties walked out. Note it was the busiest time for dinner.

Stopped in for lunch since it’s not too far from my office. First time in. Really enjoyed my experience. Menu was loaded. Went with the Santa Fe salad. It was very good. Seemed like fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Service was great. Friendly staff. Atmosphere is very cool. Tavern feel for sure with the wood walls. Good vibe. Overall I really enjoyed and will be back.

The only table open was for a party over four but we shared with another couple and now we have become friends and meet here as much as our schedules allow as we live out of town. It truly is a great place to meet people! We’ve been coming here for several years! Try it you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped in here for quick lunch. The food was definitely quality. The burger was cooked a perfect medium and you could taste the quality in the beef. The buffalo nachos were a MOUND of chips with all the fixings you would want ok nachos, but the fried chicken was dry on the nachos.
Our server, Valerie, was fast, attentive, and informative on the menu.
My only critique would be that the charge for an upgrade from potato chips to fries isn’t priced in the menu, but it almost $4 per order. That seems pretty steep for an upgrade but it was my fault for not asking specifically.
All in all, it’s a great local spot to grab a bite.

Great fried pickles and wings! Easy going ambiance, great service, oldies rock playing while sports is on the multiple big screens, also good selection of beer. Will definitely return to try more of the menu.
