The Mill Tavern has been Westfield’s go-to neighborhood spot since 2010 — a place where the beer is cold, the food is made from scratch, and the regulars feel like family. We’re a true 21+ tavern where adults come to relax, catch up, and enjoy great company without the fuss. Whether you’re grabbing a drink after work, watching the game, or sinking your teeth into one of our legendary breaded tenderloins or “Almost Famous” wings, you’ll feel right at home. Everything on the menu is tavern-made daily with care and consistency — no shortcuts, just solid food done right. The Mill is the kind of place where people know your name, your drink order, and maybe even your dog’s name. So come on in, pull up a stool, and make yourself at home. We’ll…

The Mill is one of my favorite places in Westfield. This is where I go when I want a good, hardy meal. The burgers are fantastic. The rest of the menu is a good selection of bar food staples, all done right. This isn’t a place that’s just running a deep fryer and slapping the same generic stuff on a flat top. This is a nice thick burger, cooked to temperature and topped with all of the good stuff. This is made-in-house ranch that tastes so good it could be used as currency.
The service here is fantastic also. This is not a bunch of fake smiles and 13 pieces of flare on a uniform. These are good people, busting their tails to make sure you have a good time.
The atmosphere captures in a bottle the great small town feel that was once Westfield. Paraphrasing the sign by the bar, there are no strangers here, only friends you have yet to meet.
If you haven’t, you have to check this place out. But don’t tell too many people; I don’t want it getting so popular that I can’t get in the door .
Our server, Valerie, was fast, attentive, and informative on the menu.
My only critique would be that the charge for an upgrade from potato chips to fries isn’t priced in the menu, but it almost $4 per order. That seems pretty steep for an upgrade but it was my fault for not asking specifically.
All in all, it’s a great local spot to grab a bite.
