Well usually it is good food & friendly service but not today! We got the little burgers appetizer & my friends burgers was way under cooked raw in places & mine were over cooked black & hard on the bottom. The waitress was nowhere to be found for almost an hour, she had to be flagged down & told we needed refills. She had no conversation or friendliness about her even when my friend was cracking jokes trying to lighten her up. Very dissatisfied with our visit.

My fiance & I took my mother here for her birthday & the wait staff was great. I’d only been here on one other occasion so I asked for recommendations & she was on her “A” game! We had appetizers to entrees & the good was delicious. The serving sizes were quite impressive. Needless to say we were stuffed at the end. It seems family friendly but it also offers a bar for those of you who want to relax & have a drink or two. It wasn’t too expensive considering those serving sizes. I’d recommend this to anyone family or not looking for a good time & good food

The absolute worst food I’ve ever ate!!!! I would rather cook my steak off the pavement than eat this! I couldn’t chew my steak having it medium cooked! I had to spit it out instead of swallowing it! The Mac n cheese was awful! Tasted liked cardboard, and the loaded mashed potatoes had no flavor also!!
I paid 40$ for me and my children ,who also wouldn’t eat there food, a grilled cheese and Mac n cheese, to throw it all away!!
The service was just beyond miserable! We were only offered one refill of drinks after 2 hours of being there! I had to get up and walk to the kitchen and ask for my drinks to be filled!
We waited well over an hour to even receive our food!

The staff and food will definitely be back. Isiaha was great, very attentive. The general manager James, was personable and again very attentive. The Philly was great, bun was toasted crispy, tasty, tasty, tasty. Refills galore!!!!!! Giant fish sandwich sounded great too, no room.

Great food! They have a wide selection of things to choose from which is great for picky people. Friendly staff was a huge plus. The happy hour is at a reasonable dinner time as well and not at 3pm. Overall we would go back again.

Close to the worst service I have ever received. Shared appetizer delivered with no plates. When I asked for plates the hostess brought us two plates that looked like they just came off another table used. The waitress forgot to place half our order. Never even apologized. Just gave us a stupid look. Ask if a manager was available. But no one came. Can’t give a zero stars. This visit doesn’t deserve a star.

First time visiting. We went to Portsmouth planning to eat somewhere else but glad we chose this restaraunt. The food was excellent and we felt it was a great value.
We started off with the onion loaf and it was great- not soggy or too crispy. I had the loaded tavern chicken for my meal and it was top notch.
Our service was not the best. He was overwhelmed which isn’t typically an issue for us but he complained about it right off the bat so star off there. My salad came out after my meal. They were also out of the wine I requested.
We requested a booth in the bar area so maybe if we sat in the dining room the service would have been better.
We will definetly go back because there are some many other menu items we want to try.

We got there before the lunch rush so we were seated right away. The waitress was attentive, checked on us several times and brought refills for our drinks. It did take a little while for our food to come but everything was correct and tasted great
