The Mighty Greek is a mother–daughter food truck run by Carlene and Ava, serving fresh Mediterranean flavors to Central Oregon for the past 5 years. Our roots trace back to the island of Ikaria, where our family’s love for Greek food and hospitality began. Inspired by our papou Argyrios Karimalis, who courageously immigrated to the U.S. and opened a Greek restaurant, we carry on his legacy by sharing the tastes and traditions of Greece with our community.

I was visiting a friend who recommended The Mighty Greek. OMG! I had the Gyros and the baklava. The gyros was so flavorful and the perfect combination of ingredients. The baklava was very yummy with just the right amount of sweet. This is a gem in Redmond and Bend! This is a family owned food card. HIGHLY recommend

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food was incredible and filling, without leaving me feel sick/heavy afterwards since I have a sensitive stomach. I didn’t get her name, but the woman there was amazing and had a great sense of humor (sorry for taking off the olives) and my roommate and I are obsessed with her and the food. We got the gyros, stuffed grape leaves, and the loukoumades and everything was phenomenal.

The mighty Greek was definitely worth the stop! My husband I love Greek food so we wanted to find out if it was worth the hype. We have sampled Greek food from all over but this one stood out and it was definitely worth the hype. The pita that the gyro came on was really made it shine. Some places we have had gyros all of the ingredients were fresh and good but the pita didn’t stand out. Not in this case! It seemed like every ingredient was intentionally crafted for a cohesive and delicious experience! Make the stop, it’s worth it!

Great local food cart. We will stop every time we are in town. The flavorsome gyros are amazingly beautifully done! You can tell they really take the time and effort to put out a great product. If you like good food, you need to try. You also need to try LOUKOUMADES GREEK DONUTS!!!!

I sincerely sympathize with Americans. Most of them have never been abroad, so even such cuisine for them is: Wow, delicious! The most ordinary salad, and Gyro flatbread, it has nothing to do with Greek cuisine. But by American standards it is already delicious.

Had food brought home to me from this place, last night- it was terrific! I’m picky and the flavors were fresh and did not disappoint! Best stuffed grape leaves I’ve ever tried and I loved my vegetable gyro- thank you for having that option! Already craving more and kept me pleasantly filled all night!

Talk about fresh and very delicious gyro! But the service… top notch. I didn’t catch her name but the gal was so friendly. I’ve never experienced a food truck offer to refill the water bottle I brought with me. Or ask how it was as she walked by while I was eating. It’s the little things that speak volumes.

One of the best gyros I have ever eaten! I saw the review before mine and I had that same problem at a different cart in town. But from now on, I’m eating here. They now have a roof over the tables to block the sun and it’s pleasant enough except for the fact that it’s on fifth Street. I have probably eaten here six times and it has always been consistently good.
