Fun little bar with good music and great service! The devised eggs were delicious! Great flavor and nice smooth consistency. Also had the steak nachos and corn ribs. I thought the steak could have used some extra seasoning and the corn ribs needed a sauce for dipping. Overall pretty happy with everything. Prices were reasonable as well. I would eat here again and definitely recommend giving them a try!

We’ve been to The Midwestern on Main Street twice now and had an amazing experience both times!

Had the Main Street Smash Burger and the West Loop Burger on our first visit which were delicious, and the Breakfast Burrito and Loaded Breakfast Potatoes were just as impressive our second time around.

Tried the Surfside seltzers our first time. Tried the seasonal drinks our second time which are super tasty and creative, I had the Witches Brew and the PSL. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and fast both times. Great atmosphere all around. Highly recommend.

Parking along the street is free – there’s parking around back as well which is also free.

Only one bathroom inside but more outside by the patio.

Hightop tables are more comfortable than the barstool seating. No bag holders under the bar fyi.

Live music lineup is awesome. They’ve played a great vibe, and it’s not super loud – can still hold a conversation if needed.

This spot is definitely one of our new favorites in St. Charles!

We were initially went in for one drink and leave but the service and drinks were really good we ended up staying longer and ordering more drinks. Definitely recommend, especially if you enjoy live music.

Came in later in the evening on Monday. The service was prompt and friendly. The cook was closing the kitchen but still took the time to prepare some food for me. I had the chicken tenders and fries. I was extremely surprised to find the chicken strips were hand breaded solid chicken tenders. They were delicious. Will definitely be back with my daughter. I promise even the pickiest eater will be happy .

This place is a step above every place on North Main St. The clientele, the staff. Everything has its own vibe. I was a practicing vegan until I was talked into the smash burger… I even had the deviled eggs THE BEST FOOD!

This is one of the shotgun buildings on Main Street serving as a bar with a moderate menu of bar food — wraps, salads, sandwiches, and one basic 2-patty smash burger. They also offer what looks to be a solid brunch menu on weekends. Very clean, friendly service, good food. Oh, if you’re a AB fan, don’t hold it against them for serving Coors.

A little smaller than some of the places on main Street and I like that. A nice bar, good help and good food. Heard the have someone playing music during the day Fri, Sat, and Sun which is rare.

Great little place we stumbled upon. We had food and drinks. My daughter and I both ordered the burger and fries. Burger didn’t look special until I took a few bites of it. Pretty sure it was the best burger I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back.. we have a great time.
