We decided to make this part of our family drive and started off by passing the Weisenberger Mill. The café was on the wish list and we really enjoyed the breakfast bagel more than anything we’ve had at biscuit belly.
The service was awesome and it’s got a hometown vibe and being right in the middle of the bakery process is pretty unique.
We took our girls in the back outdoor seating and let them play in the nearby playground, and it was awesome.
I’ll try and repeat this every week.

Went for the first time and got a small assortment of goodies. Every one was a hit!! Personally a big fan of the corn cookie- perfect balance of buttery, sweet, and corn! My so got the fudgy brownie and he loved it- no leftovers! We will definitely be back. Support local

I stopped by on New Year’s Eve to get breakfast for New Year’s Day, plus some cookies for a snack and a coffee. Coffee was delicious, all of the treats were incredible (especially the sweet potato muffin!) and the service was outstanding.

Me and my friends stopped over here when we came to Midway on a Sunday afternoon for a quick coffee break. A nice cool cafe with wonderful fresh baked goodies – breads , cookies , scones , quiche, pies, cinnamon rolls as well as an assortment of coffees and teas .
The staff was very patient , friendly and attentive. We had the savory scones with ham, cheese and chives ( yummy – a tad salty ) , ham and chives quiche ( exquisite- one of the best I have had, very fluffy and melt in your mouth ) , sorghum cookie ( delicious cookie with a kick of spice ). Also has local goodies like cake mixes , honey , coffee and even soaps on sale . So glad we stopped by here .. can’t wait to be back with my husband !!

So glad Midway Bakery is back open. They have wonderful scones and cookies. The sorghum cookie is a must. Stop for lunch for bagel or biscuit sandwiches. Our favorite is cream cheese, apple butter and country ham! There is always something for everyone. Also, they have a small outside patio or table inside to eat.

This place has the best sausage egg sandwich going. Cannot praise them enough. Easily worth the drive from Lexington or Georgetown. Reasonably priced and fast service. Plus one might as well sample a cookie or scone while visiting, it’s a crime not to. Again do yourself a favor and checkout midway bakery.
