We ordered $60 worth of food all if which we normally order and there was no seasoning on anything . the batter on the onion rings mushrooms and the chicken tasted just like heavy old oil no seasoning. The deep fried mushrooms tasted like water and dirt.
And the Phoenix fried chicken sandwich was sopping wet from picked jalapenos they didn’t drain. The most flavor on the entire sandwich was old greese.

The clam chowder is buttery, creamy goodness. They grilled the top of the bread bowl. A nice touch. And the shrimp po’boy with onion rings was amazing. We’ll be back when we’re driving through.

Some pretty awesome food. The onion rings are amazing! The calamari is great big pieces which I loved. The ultimate fish sandwich was amazing. And I had a wrap since they are healthy it was called the Batchelor. Their bbq sauce was very unique and I enjoyed it.

Greatest lunch stop in the I-5
Literally… food was freakin scrumptious. Came highly recommended by the wife. So I needed to try. Ordered, cheese curds, onion rings, firehouse burger, shrimp and chicken basket and fries.
Let me tell you the deep fried cheese curds and onion rings we’re the best I’ve ever…
Burger was a high quality meal, shrimp and chicken breaded to perfection. Even the sauces were amazing.

Fyi This is isn’t fast food! Be prepared to wait maybe 15 minutes. But I promise it’s worth every minute you wait.

We stopped by to rest from our long trip. When I tell you that the food is delicious please BELIEVE ME.
We ordered the chicken tenders, shrimp, and a pull pork sandwich.
The batter on both the shrimp and chicken was not overcooked and was not greasy. It was so delicious to eat. The BBQ sauce is amazing as well.

Planned ahead to stop here on way back from a day trip to Coos Bay.

It was easy to find, a short jog off of I5. A few people ahead of us in line, but service was quick and we got our order in.

It was a nice day to sit outside at a covered picnic table.

The value priced shrimp poor boy was the main attraction, and it delivered. The deep fried mushrooms were plentiful and tasty. The clam chowder (AKA potato soup), was actually pretty good, although as the picture shows, it has a lot of big chunks of potatoes.

Overall, a nice stop I’d hit again if I was driving that stretch of I5.
