The best and most nostalgic Mexican ever. Been going here for as long as I can remember. I don’t live in Dothan so it was always a special treat to come here on the weekend or when I was off work. If the rumors are true about the permanent closing I am so heartbroken

Disgusting is an understatement! I ordered seafood nachos and got imitation crab meat with gross cheese melted on crackers! My Granddaughter ordered a quesadilla and it was so hard she couldn’t eat it! We did have some salsa and chips that were so so! Over $50.00 got garbage! We paid and left!

Do you want to know how the atmosphere is? It’s hot. They must be too cheap to get good air conditioning. That poor staff is having to run around and work in that. I couldn’t even stand to sit there and eat my food it was so hot and stuffy. 0 stars if I could

Absolutely the worst Mexican/southeastern food I’ve ever had. First the atmosphere smells like an extension of cigar shop next store. The staff was fine shy to say the least. Now onto the food chips perfectly fine, just like you would get out of the bag, cheese dip well let’s just say the coldest thickest cheese dip ever. Now on to the entree girlfriend had quesadilla, onions slimy, steak was a light Gray tasteless and poor quality. My entree was a burrito canned chicken with a pound of shredded cheese not even melted nothing else in the burrito. The outside had some grill grease spilled over it. Beans were crusty and hard the rice tasted like cleaner. So all and all a meal for two that was $37.82 was horrible. We ended up not eating that night because of it!

Food was excellent. A cross between Mexican and American. Portions of food excellent. Staff is very friendly. Cozy atmosphere and nicely decorated . The prices are very reasonable.

Rice not season right or properly. They clearly don’t sanitize the dishes the food taste like the water they wash the plates with.

The staff was friendly and attentive, the service was pretty good, chips and salsa we’re good as well, the food however had too much cheese and tasted like something out of a highschool cafeteria, other than the food it’s a great little place packed full of people.

My family has enjoyed Mexican Connection for years but my usual order of Chicken Nachos were terrible tonight—my husband’s food was good—he enjoyed his plus the chips and salsa—great! The chicken was different and overall —no flavor and I am not a picky eater. I only ate about 1/4 of serving. There was also a “sour/wet “ smell in our seating area. The reason for atmosphere rating. Hope these issues can be fixed.
