Awesome little place. Very clean. Very welcoming. I had the daily special which was a turkey & bacon with avocado sandwich, a bowl of homemade tomato soup, and chips. It was VERY delicious! I also did a wild berry smoothie, the flavor was excellent. The prices are very fair.

Ordered 3 panini sandwiches. The plate was hardly big enough for the sandwich (regular size bread), and the pickle on the sides made the sandwich soggy. Our family was very disappointed in the quality of the meal. The building seemed very pieced together with small rooms. Not at all what I had hoped for.

Legend-Air is new to New Salem with Legend-Air & Clay’s Plumbing. We felt very welcomed and provided for, while we had an all team meeting here at Metro Perk in New Salem. The environment was clean, and comfortable. It has a wonderful splash of nostalgia as well as a decor that makes the customer feel that you are in a very rich environment. The food and drinks were made, and provided in a seamless fashion. We had privacy and a local establishment to treat our team to breakfast and coffee as we went over important business topics! The Metro has the best coffee and hospitality in New Salem. Staff are always welcoming my family when we step into the cafe. I enjoy getting a coffee while my wife gets her nails done by Sam! Knowing they offer a hotel/bed and breakfast helps visitors explore the community of New Salem with ease. Having the Metro Mart inside the Metro helps others sell the goods they make, plus you are shopping local when you shop! 10 out of 10 establishment.
