I’m newly attending ONU for law school, and trying to find good places to eat. My boyfriend and I checked this place out and it was AMAZING!

Our waitress was extremely kind and attentive — I can’t remember what her name was, but she had pink hair. Such as when my gnocchi was to have bread and didn’t come out with it, she immediately went “I’m so sorry, that’s supposed to come with bread!” She was also extremely cautious about my allergies, and put in my peanut allergy with my order.

All of the other staff were great too. The host immediately greeted us and took us to a seat, and other staff told us to have a great night on our way out. There was a guy with glasses, that we assume was a manager, who was running the kitchen and the orders. He asked us how our meals were and that he hoped everything met our expectations.

The food and drinks 100% met our expectations. For our food, we ordered spinach and artichoke dip, meatloaf sandwich, gnocchi. For our drinks, we got a peppermint martini and a white elephant. Our only complaint was that everything (drinks and food) sounded good! We will definitely be back!

Stopped in to have a bite.
What a beautiful atmosphere.
All decked out for the holidays!
Food was hot and fresh, friendly service.
And I have to add that the bathrooms were sparkling clean. A true sign these people believe in quality.
I would highly recommend this place. It is not far off I 75 if you are just driving through. Worth the stop.

The food was very good. The service was excellent. Our waitress was Carissa. She did a great job interacting with us serving us and just all around great experience for a great lunch in Lima Ohio. The best time to go is mid afternoon too early afternoon.

We had a wonderful server. We were not impressed with the food for the price. My husband and I both got the hamburger which is supposed to be a double smash burger but it’s not a smash burger and for the price and size, it’s not worth it. You can get a better burger and fries at Five Guys or Siderail in Wapakoneta, and for a better price. The crab dip was good. The cheese curds all you could tase was the seasoning and not the cheese. Our son got the honey chicken sandwich. It sounded really good but when it was brought out it looked like a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. It was a smashed out chicken breast 2 x bigger than the bun, not what we expected. It was good but he ate it with a fork. All in all for the price of this place and the portions it’s doubtful we will be back.

Great little place to eat. Perfect for a lunch date or a casual dinner. The tacos are my #1 here. Incredible flavor and presentation.

My mom has been visiting for the holidays, and her birthday falls during this time. We took her to The Met for lunch today, and it was fantastic! First, we parked across the street, which was paid parking. There are nearby free options, too. Anyway, we were quickly welcomed and seated. We were given ample time to review the menu and ask questions. Our waitress was patient and super kind. Everything we had was delicious! I didn’t take a picture of our appetizer, which I highly recommend, the Next Level Fries wow! My husband had the MET Tavern Burger 2.0, My mother had the Chicken Salad Croissant (pita bread instead of croissant), and I had the Chicken Quesadilla. For dessert, my mom and I had the Apollo Peanut Butter Delight while my husband had the Chocolate Blackout Cake. Both were very rich and generous portions!! Leftovers for sure! The atmosphere was fun, laid back, inviting, and just very comfortable. I can’t wait to go back and try something new!

If you are in the area, don’t pass up The MET! So good and totally worth it!

Had reservations for 8 on a Friday evening. Not crowded. Historical site. T-bone and Porterhouse steaks were the specials. Reasonably priced. I settled for the meatloaf. The best I have had in years!! 3 chunks stacked high over fresh mash potatoes and steamed string beans. Seasoned to perfection. Happy Hour Wine slushy garnished with gummy bears!! Delicious. Happy Hour ends at 6, we arrived at 6:10 and exception was made by our wonderful waitress. Atmosphere is generated by floor to ceiling historical windows and bar. Street parking. I will definitely go back next year during our annual dog show!! The appetizers are outstanding!! Don’t leave without Dessert!!
