We had a wedding family dinner and it was perfect. The team did a great job, the food was delicious and on time. I couldn’t have selected a better place for this special night. Thank u so much. ✨ I highly recommend The Mercantile for anyone.

A group of us travelled from different cities to meet up here for dinner. Our cocktails and appetizer were good, no complaints. My friends had mixed reviews of their meals, but that’s not important right now.
I’ve been infatuated with cauliflower pizza so against the advice of my partner, I ordered a margarita cauliflower. The beauty in the margarita is the balance of cheese and sauce. We called this thing the inverse margarita because it was all cheese with some sauce thrown at it. It was also served not very warm so that didn’t help.
I appreciate that the chef was trying to be creative but whoa! Don’t screw with the margarita.

Perfectly Average but I had a good time after a Woo Sox game for a bite. Love the atmosphere and vibe here. Mostly a younger crowd, food was average today, but our server was apparently very short handed or not into. Will try again another time.

We were a big group and the staff made sure we are well accommodated.
There are delicious options in starters and entree. Good ones for main course and deserts too. Had one of the best Nachos and fries. It was fun atmosphere around with many places to take nice pics. Outside sitting has great view but make sure to make advance reservations. Ample parking space around.

The host/ hostesses are always the worst part of the Merchantile.WE HAD A RESERVATION ! THEY WERE EXPECTING US ! Host 101 ,you make a reservation you are already getting a prime seating. It’s Valentine’s Day and instead of seating couples in a quiet booth( which there were plenty of) they put you in the middle of a noisy room elbow to elbow with other guests. They really need to understand the guests that they are seating ! When you arrive at your reserved time you shouldn’t be put to the side and asked to wait with the walk ins ! WE HAD A RESERVATION! This happens every time we visit! Get the proper training to be an effective host/hostess .
The service is always very friendly, when they are available. They pop in and out so infrequently and quickly it’s difficult to get their attention when you need something.
The sandwich I ordered said fresh sliced turkey breast. It was not fresh , the flavor turkey gets after sitting for a few days is very distinct and obvious. You are not doing yourself any favors by serving your customers out dated food and calling it fresh!! Fix this !
A salad that mentions a mix of Romaine hearts and kale should actually in clude a mix of romaine, not 95% Kale! We even asked our waitress about this before ordering and we were assured of an even mix of both.
The Saturday brunch menu had very few offerings to not be able to get them right!
Buyer beware , a nice looking place to gather in a conveniently located part of town does not mean they know what they’re doing!
They’ve had lots of time to get it right ,and still fall way too short !

Had a great brunch with the family while visiting my daughter in college. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived. Our waitress was friendly and professional. Food and drinks were all great. Highly recommend & will definitely return!

We stopped in for a quick bite before an event at the DCU Center. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was enjoyable, but unfortunately the food fell short of our expectations. The margarita pizza was neither wood-fired nor a true margarita—it was overloaded with shredded mozzarella and topped with large dollops of what tasted like jarred Ragu sauce. The corn nachos were bland and uninspired, and the Hot and Spicy pizza was simply unpleasant. Sadly, we don’t plan on returning anytime soon.

We visited this restaurant Saturday evening with friends for a 7:15pm reservation. We arrived five minutes early but weren’t seated until about 7:30 and when we checked in, we were simply told to go upstairs to meet the other hosts rather than being walked to our table like other guests. The upstairs dining area was nice and the food was great. However, as the night went on, the bar crowd (mostly college students) became very overwhelming. People were constantly pressing into our dining space, leaving glasses on our table, bumping into or even moving our drinks to get by, and there was no direction from management to separate the bar and dining areas. We also had an issue with dessert twice, receiving lemon sorbet instead of vanilla ice cream on a brownie. As a courtesy, Holland (our waitress, who was great actually) removed the dessert from the bill, which we appreciated.
The friends we brought with us were visiting for the first time and while they loved the food, they both said they wouldn’t come back because of the overall atmosphere. Overall, the food was good, but if you’re looking for a true dining experience rather than a crowded bar environment, I would avoid Saturday nights or being seated on the second floor.

A great spot for good friends and drinks. The ambiance and decor are perfect for a night out with friends. The bartenders are so talented and make perfectly balanced cocktails.
As for food, the pizza is really good. (I do wish the they would put a little more toppings on it but that’s my only real gripe.) We’ve had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed so you can’t go wrong!
For those of us into sports, they are big TV screens mounted all around the bar. Good spot to catch a game.

Extremely disappointing meal, salad was overly acidic, chicken burger was dry, french fries was dry. Fish tacos were the only highlight. Server only took our order, and didnt check in to refill water at all. Would not go again
