One of my favorite places to go for barbecue. Been a customer for years. Been to all the local spots this one by far is my favorite. Hospitality that is so friendly . They take pride in what they serve and it shows. There are no words to describe the food to its entirety ! smoked fresh every day. The collared greens are on point. The mac and cheese???. Whaaat!! It’s like a heart attack in a bowl of creamy, cheesy goodness.. The candy yams I eat by themselves as a snack later on in the night …lmfao! they’re just perfect. . If you’re ever in schenectady area or live down their way.. Treat yourself because you won’t be disappointed… xoxo

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile and it lived up toy expectations. The brisket and pastrami was super tender and didn’t even any sauce, i like the touch of seasoning sprinkled on top. The pulled pork was very juicy and had some great sauce on it. The cornbread was really buttery and soft, some of the best I’ve had. The mac and cheese was pretty good, the touch of seasoning on top just added a unique touch of flavor.

The staff was super friendly and offered awesome service. The Pit Master is on a whole ‘nother level with his technique and flavor profiling!! Hands down best BBQ I’ve had.

Only fault I have, its cold in the dining area. They have some bugs to work out yet. Its tough when its a newer business.

I had a pleasant experience at The Memphis King BBQ. The family who owns the restaurant is very friendly, and the food is bussin. I loved the beef brisket and the seasoned wings—of course, the coleslaw too. I will definitely be back.

Super friendly service. Great food and it would be nice if they had just one super delicious sauce, instead they have six! But the Memphis house hot is the clear winner. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender but call ahead cuz it goes quick. Lot of great barbecues in the area but they really step up and make it worth the visit. Truly worthy of the name.

Just had lunch at the King and it was outstanding! Pulled pork with Carolina sauce, burnt ends, collard greens and yams. The barbecue was on point, the sauce was not too tangy or sweet and the burnt ends were done to perfection. Best collard greens I’ve ever had and the yams were yummy. Tommy’s redesign of the inside is a must see. The bar and seating area are nicely laid out and really enhance the dine in experience. The food was so good, we are ordering some for our Christmas Day dinner. The prices are incredible and value for your money can’t be beat! I highly recommend you stop in and check it out. Eat in or take out you won’tbe disappointed.

Tried the burnt ends ribs and brisket. Ribs and burnt ends were covered in sauce. Didn’t like them. Brisket was very good. I know Memphis bbq has sauce in their recipe but the ribs would have been better not drenched in mustard….. I asked for their sweet sauce it may have helped but they didn’t give it to me luckily I had Stubbs at home. In comparison to their sauce it’s at least 10 times better
