The Melt is a fantastic burger joint with a great tasting burger. The cheese ratio that seems outrageous but it’s not. It’s just the right amount and when you add the hickory bacon and Bar B Que sauce it’s exactly as a bacon BBQ cheese burger should be. The staff have a great demeanor and are happy to bring your food to the table as soon as it’s ready. So you get a piping hot burger and fries.
Now if that wasn’t enough. This location is open “till” 2am. Enjoy. And don’t forget the delicious chocolate chip cookies! Heavenly!

What could have been an ordinary comfort food classic was elevated to something special. I had an incredible experience thanks in large part to Aleyda, who truly went above and beyond. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us warmly at the door and made us feel right at home. Her service was immaculate, attentive without being intrusive, and she checked in on us just the right amount to ensure everything was going smoothly.

So today waa my 2nd time coming to this establishment and ordered the same thing “garlic chicken bacon mac” the first time it was deunpleasant. So I bought the dame thing today so I was wondering is it supposed to have chunks of garlic with pretty much every bite? I had to stop eating it, the garlic flavor with every bite and it being chunks is very unpleasent.

Ellin, At the Melt Burger really surprised me. The food came out fresh, hot, and loaded with flavor. The patties were juicy, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the buns actually held together (rare these days). The fries were crispy, seasoned right, and the portions were solid.
Service was fast, the staff was cool, and the place was clean. It’s one of those spots that doesn’t try too hard — they just get the basics right and deliver every time.

Get into the restaurant and ask the cashier all sorts of questions about a burger, and making it vegan. We do the impossible patty, we do no sauce, she tells me there is butter on the bun so we talk about no butter on the bun.
The burger comes out, and I can tell the bun has butter on it. I walk it back, and they apologize and say they’re going to remake it. No problem. Cool.
Then, the manager comes up to me and wants me to know that the cheese is not vegan cheese, did I know that?
Then her comment was that there might be a language barrier. That is totally cool. I do not discriminate against anyone, at any time for any reason. Especially with language because I live in Asia, and only speak English. So I’m very patient with that part, but the person taking orders should know how to talk about allergens. That’s common sense, and reckless if not fixed.
Yikes. Just basic yikes. If this was Cincinnati, I would understand. But a restaurant in WeHo that struggles to accommodate vegan?
