Pleasantly Surprised!! A very nice restaurant featuring farm-to-table entrees that are absolutely delicious!! Had the opportunity to meet the executive chef, which was very nice. Stopped by here for Sunday Brunch on a planned trip to the outlet mall in Mebane. What a great find! The atmosphere was nice; the food was great; the service was smooth and the prices were reasonable. I tried the shrimp and grits and mimosa – great taste and nice portion size. The only downside was the flies we had to keep swatting; I know it’s summer time, but that was a little annoying. Other than that, it was great, and we will definitely be back.

1st – Sanitation rating is great 97.5 and Great service! We went for lunch it was my first time, but it won’t be my last. Salad with grilled shrimp on top with vinagrette dressing… it was delicious! Great coffee too

Our experience was 5 out of 5. I had the shrimp and grits which had a distinct Louisiana flare, full of spices and delicious. My friend had the grouper, and it was one of the best pieces of fish I’ve been served in a restaurant. The adult beverage selection is narrow yet diverse. I decided to sample the local brewery choices which did not disappoint. Don’t pass this one up. The chef is A+ great guy too.

A year later and still amazing. Our server tonight was very attentive even though it was a little busy. The duck breast was a real treat.

Solid menus and very reasonable price for breakfast. Lunch is supposedly similar but dinner is a step up and probably best reserved for special occasions.
The atmosphere during the day was relaxed and calm. Nice selection of music in the background. Southern classic decor. Simple.
Attentive servers who were very kind. Can’t say anything bad about the service I received. I’ll definitely go back to try more breakfast items!

The restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress was super friendly, but messed up our order a couple of times…we ordered oysters as appetizer, they never came out, and it took almost an hour to get our food!! The pork chop was a nice size, had good flavor but could have used a bit more seasoning…too bland. The fried chicken must have been over-marinated because the texture was off….almost powdery. The dirty rice was watery and overcooked. The red fish was the best entree at our table, but it came out cold. The chef was not very accommodating either…

Wonderful as always! The chef does a great job. The menu is creative and delicious and the service has a friendly southern touch. Great place to celebrate special occasions. Tonight was our anniversary and could not have had a better time!
