I stopped in here to try the BBQ here because of how much I enjoyed their location in Magnolia. It did not disappoint. I did however opt for the three meat plate on this visit because of how filling the four meat plate was at their other location. This time I got the brisket, ribs, and chicken because those were my top three from my other visit. They did not disappoint at all. I enjoyed all three plus more of the twisty fries. The staff here was also super friendly and provided great service. I caught them after the lunch rush which made the visit a little more quiet and pleasant. I’d definitely stop in again if passing through.

Wow! Great BBQ! The brisket was tender and tasty. The Jalapeño and cheese sausage was fantastic (probably my favorite I have ever had)! The fall-off-the-bone ribs were great as well. The mac and cheese and baked beans were delicious too! My wife thoroughly enjoyed the large baked potato. Very rarely do I have nothing negative to say about a place, even if it is minor. The Meating Place BBQ Montgomery knocked everything out of the park. I had driven about an hour to get to another BBQ place I had heard was good just down the road, but they were closed (an hour before the posted closing time). I am SO glad they were closed, as I would not have had this wonderful dining experience. I also got to chat with the owner and she was a real joy to speak with. If you are on the fence deciding which BBQ place to try, just go here. You won’t be disappointed!

I arrived and there was plenty of parking and plenty of open tables. The waitress was very friendly and took my order without any mistakes. The food was hot and fresh. I also had another order to go which she kept hot until I was ready to leave. I really like the decor. I had ordered the 4 meat plate with a baked potato. I had asked for lean beef, ribs, chicken, and links. The waitress and other staff checked on me several times to make sure the food was good, and that I didn’t need anything. The lunch was very good, and I will be back.

The food is always delicious. All the employees and staff are friendly and very welcoming. There is definitely plenty of food. You will not leave this place hungry. I had the BBQ plate on the kids Menu and as you can see, it is a very large portion.

I got a BBQ Baked Potato and it was really good, the quality in which the potato was baked made the whole potato worth eating. Great service, great location.

Great food, great service and fantastic owners! The brisket and turkey were moist with excellent flavor, and the bakes beans and potato salad also very good.
Rachel helped us with a large catering order for an important event, answering all my questions and handling the date and order changes with a smile. Even a tiny hiccup was resolved quickly and completely.

Best BBQ ice ever had!
Meat was so juicy, fell right off the bone and the turkey was just as good! I’m not really a turkey person but I couldn’t stop eating it. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, he made our experience memorable. We will be back again and again.

Love this place. We had originally asked for “moist” brisket and we weee served the end of the flat, which tasted amazing but was a bit dry. It still folded over, which itself is difficult to achieve. He saw it and brought us the moist point portion that was incredible. Well served! Love this place in Magnolia as well. They use post oak and it makes all the difference.

I come here for those tender steak fingers! They are on the salty side but very good. Loving the onion rings( red onions) with all that great breading. They also serve twice baked mashed potatoes, okra, mac-n-cheese, fried green beans and much more. Lots of yummy sweets too. They do sell koozies which is how you get your free but not actually free beer…
