What a hidden gem! The Meatball Shack absolutely blew me away. The food is packed with flavour, proper homemade-style meatballs, perfect spices and the fries are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The veggie option was great too, full of flavour and just as satisfying.
You can tell everything’s made with care and love, it’s comfort food done properly.
The lady who served me my takeaway was so lovely, friendly and genuinely helpful, which just made the whole experience even better.
We’re already planning to come back with a group of friends and sit in and eat at the restaurant because places like this deserve to be supported. A fantastic little spot that Shrewsbury should be proud of!

No matter, whether like us you’ve driven past loads of times and keep meaning to pop in or it’s just somewhere new that you are looking for, this will absolutely make a wonderful night out for you.
BYO – Bring your own – Want to bring a drink, go ahead. They have some alcoholic options and a license but fully support bring your own giving you all the options.
The two owners are absolutely fantastic. They totally understand the importance of hospitality and dietary requirements varying from Vegan to Gluten Free. Things like the chips ONLY get cooked with chips, which is VERY rare.
The food was lovely and the staff super friendly and helpful so definitely put this on your bucket list for Shrewsbury.
We’re already looking forward to going back.

A lovely place to eat, something different and good value. The bowls of salads that accompany the meatballs were super tasty and really well done. Friendly owners who looked after us and were happy to chat. They’ve worked hard to get the place open with some lovely touches like the little games to play on the tables whilst you wait for your food. You can take your own alcohol as they don’t have a licence to sell it which I’m sure would be a welcome bonus for a lot of people. Well done Gee and hubby

What a place this is and not to be missed. Not the most likely of places in Shrewsbury find a great restaurant but who says that’s in the rules. The food was fantastic, we all had something different and had the same comments, “meaty and full of flavour”. Considering they are a very small team the service was excellent. The food is inexpensive as were the drinks prices. You can also bring your own. This place is an absolute gem and something different. Don’t think about it just book it.

A hidden gem, we loved our visit today.. Called in for their Sunday lunch special. Definitely worth checking out, if you fancy something different. Location is great, as it’s not in the town centre, so you can easily park near by and relax. On to the food, it was cooked to perfection, wholesome and tasty. A nice twist for a Sunday lunch, which we both enjoyed. Coffee’s were nice and so was their dessert. Will definitely be returning soon! Also keen to try some of their other dishes, as it’s all cooked fresh on site…. Would highly recommend you check this place out
