First let me start this is the first time I’ve had an “incident” since doing Google reviews. Everything about this place seemed good! Cool look, service was good, and the food came out and looked great! I had a Patty Melt with Fries, my wife had a Turkey Panini with Tots! It came out and I took pics for my review and felt pretty sure it was going to be a great one.
My Patty Melt was great, the rye bread was really good and I loved it. My wife ate half her sandwich (which is normal) and I thought nothing was a miss!
She did have an issue though as there was a little spot of mold on her crust. The rest looked OK and these things happen. It’s kind of gross but it can happen.
We told our server so they could double check the bread to not repeat the issue with others and she did take a couple bucks off our tab which we didn’t ask for.
They did the minimum needed for the situation but they did it without asking so credit there. I work in customer care so it’s not the solution I would have suggested but I appreciate the attempt l.
I would give them another chance likely.

cheese curds were superb and so was my long island iced tea. My club sandwich was okay– tasted as if it was toasted in a pan (heated through) instead of toasting just the bread so unfortunately all ingredients including the vegetables were hot like the lettuce and tomatoes. Their Mav Burger slaps though and you HAVE to order the sidewinder fries! Will be returning ✨

Great experience. We had medium rare ribeyes, broccoli and baked sweet potatoes. Food was very good and made to order. I wish we had time for dessert. They had so many choices.

Frequent flyer here, and for good reason. The staff is incredibly understanding and accommodating when it comes to food allergies and dietary needs, especially gluten-free, which makes dining here both stress-free and enjoyable. The food is always delicious, and the service is consistently kind and welcoming. It’s a place I truly enjoy coming back to.
Their breakfast menu is just as great as their regular lunch/supper menu!

I don’t tend to write reviews, however my food tonight was extremely overcooked. I placed a small ToGo order: Sirloin (Medium Rare), potatoes and a Caesar salad. The steak was served as well done and burnt on the outside (very dry).

I had read that The Mav Grill had the best burgers in Worthington, and therefore I went for dinner. I was promptly seated by the hostess in a booth. My waitress did not introduce herself, but did take my order promptly.
I had a Mav burger with a side of French Fries. The burger was good and tasted like it was locally sourced and not frozen. it’s really the service, though, that bothered me. I took my last bite of the burger and with my mouth full, my waitress came by, and asked if I was going to have dessert. I shook my head no, since I couldn’t speak while finishing that last bite.
She then placed the bill on the table for me. I felt like this was poor service. It was as if the faster I ate and I paid, the faster she could the table over. As I was leaving, the hostesses did not even say good bye or thank you for visiting.
Perhaps I am old fashioned, but I remember a time when courtesy and greetings were in vogue.

Food was great and the atmosphere felt calm during our time there. We arrived around 7:40PM, drinks, appetizers and food came on a decent time. The fries were unfortunately a little too salty for my liking. The steak was great! Cooked at medium like we requested so no issues there! Rice was ok as well but nothing over the top (a little too salty as well). I’ll be honest the calamari was by far my favorite, the sauce combined with the calamari was delicious! I ordered a mango lemonade but wasn’t really good in my opinion. The food came out to be around 78.45$ which is too be expected for 2 steaks, appetizer and 2 drinks.

My brother and I went the MAV Grill for lunch on their opening day! We had a great time and the food was excellent. It was challenging being their first day, but our server did a great job.
The wait for the food was totally acceptable and worth it! The food was brought out fresh, not dying in the window. Our server was attentive to our needs.
The person who seated us seemed a bit stressed and told us immediately after sitting down to “be patient as it’s the first day.” I’m still giving this place 5 stars, but I would suggest not ever saying things like that to customers just coming in. It gives the impression of not being confident and already defeated setting a negative vibe for the customer.
You guys rock and have nothing to worry about! Keep up the great work! We always find ways to be better, and for the first day, you killed it! 😀 We’ll definitely be back. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu!

I took my wife and children here for dinner this evening. We were greeted very warmly and quickly seated. Our server came and took our drink orders. The dinner menu was filled with great variety.
I had the medium ribeye with lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly (and believe me, i hardly ever give that rating out freely). The lobster was great with the slated butter sauce. Our appetizers were very good. We enjoyed the calamari and cheese curds. I had a cup of chili which tasted great!
My wife had a burger and my kids had some sliders. All of them were very happy and we left filled!

We made a Google reservation since we’d never been and it’s the halfway meeting point for us. Service was fantastic and patient, food was hot and fresh. Would definitely go back.

Everything about this place was great with the exception of our waitress. She never once came back and checked on us. We had ask to get our beverages refreshed. They weren’t even busy. We will come back for the food.
