Highly highly recommend this place!!! Service and the atmosphere was amazing!! Afrim was our host and he was one of the best, he was very nice, patient and helpful!! Now the let’s talk about the food because I’ve had so many Indian food and this place was the best!! We had their Ghee Roast Lamb and Habanero Chicken Tikka as appetizers and it was sooo good!! For Entree we had Red snapper and Fennel and Nigella Lobster with Rosemary Garlic Naan hands down the best seafood. We will definitely be back again!! We drove an hour for this place and every minute was truly worth the drive. Between the food the atmosphere and the service.

This place is like a cake or dessert which after having finishing it, you wish you had some more. We had a good dinner but wished that the experience could have been better for sure.

The gentleman at the counter who received us was kind enough to bring over a cake with a candle, as it was my birthday and that with a mango juice we requested outside of the menu for our 2 yr old were both covered on the house.

Now when it comes to the food, we ordered a Gobi Manchurian, Baingan Bharta with Naan and a plate of vegetable biryani.

The Manchurian was cold and lacked salt that I had to request to have rest of the order served hot which was taken care. But we found the Baingan more oily and the biryani not being extraordinary (portion size was huge for two adults)

But overall, they have great ambiance and the close-by parking is street parking which might be tight on rush hours.

An upscale restaurant and bar in Princeton was a pleasant surprise. We loved the lamb ghee roast, handi goat, malai kofta and mug daal halwa. The smoked old fashioned was to perfection by our host Afrim, who is fantastic. Highly recommended.

I went on this Valentine’s Day Had such a great experience here! The food was seriously delicious full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly spiced. Every dish tasted authentic and comforting at the same time.

After finishing my meal, I loved it so much that I had to talk to the chefs — Vipool, Chathan, and Sandesh. They were super friendly and humble, and you can really tell they cook with passion. It made the whole experience even better knowing the amazing people behind the food.

I have tasted and must try
Chicken 65
Garlic nan
Butter chicken
Kheer dessert
Goat
Lamb Rogan Josh
Samosa chat
Pomfret.

Definitely coming back again. If you’re near by Princeton,NJ and craving good Indian food, this is the spot.

We went here on our anniversary. We booked a table but there was hardly anyone. Food is very good. One of the best chicken lollipops I have had in US. Ambience could be better, doesn’t give fine dining or class vibe. Service and staff is very good and courteous.
Unfortunately there was no goat and there was no fetuchini maharaja available so we had to find something else. More unfortunately happy hours menu was valid only when sitting at the bar, what a bummer.
Food is tasty but overpriced for the place and presentation. They add 20% gratuity by default.
Drinks were ok, we had ordered spicy Indian food whisky sour and solkadhi mule

I held my women’s group Diwali dinner at Maurya’s. We had the larger hall. The experience of making the booking, selecting the menu items and the dealing with the owner and manager were all seamless. They were accommodating and helped ensure that we had a great evening! The food was excellent! The service was incredible as they were dealing with a large crowd and they made sure that everyone was attended to. Highly recommend Maurya’s as a restaurant and a party hall!

Quiet, graceful place with bestest food in New Jersey. The perfect amount of spices and flavors. Went with my family and we all loved the food.

The air in New Jersey today has a biting malice—cold that doesn’t just chill the skin, but interrogates the soul—and on a Sunday like this, you go looking for sanctuary.
Somehow, I found it in a perfect Samosa Chaat: shatteringly crisp, warmly spiced, and laced with tamarind-mint chutney that cut through the winter like a clean bolt of light.
From thousands of miles away, it wasn’t only flavor I was chasing—it was a memory with texture, something you could actually hold onto.
An Allagash White sounds like cultural friction on paper, yet its citrusy, cloudy grace bridged the heat on the plate and the frost beyond the glass.
And with service that felt like invitation rather than transaction, the distance to home briefly collapsed—I wasn’t hiding from the wind; I was home.
