I had the lobster roll which was great I loved it and will be getting it again, as this place is very close to where I live and the people who work there were so nice. My husband got the cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks which he liked very much he said he’s been wanting a diner type of burger and he said he got it here at the shack so he was very happy. Has Cool beach vibe, while you wait or dine in and it’s right infront of the dock right by the water.

The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and VERY reasonably priced. Very good varieties and selections to where there’s something for everyone. Owner’s Frank Sr and Frank Jr are so friendly and very humble people. This area really needed something nice like this. The vibe is so chill and laid back with nice scenery and good music vibes. Highly recommend and will be returning as a regular ❤️

Went with a friend just to have a couple of drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. We kept on getting hounded to order food so fine…we ordered mozzarella sticks and fries. The sticks were overcooked and hollowed out( there was no cheese in them). They only gave literally a handful of fries which cost 6 bucks. The drinks were also horrible. We will not be going back.

Updating my review for my last visit since it’s changed hands: I saw an ad online for some “affordable” apps, so I thought we’d try it out. I liked the spot; the decorations and updates are appealing, so I was excited. We sat down and looked at the menu, and I was shocked: $21 for a chicken burrito? $20 for chicken nachos? $15 for a quesadilla? I didn’t really want a hamburger, which was the only reasonably priced entrée option, so we ordered appetizers of coconut shrimp ($9.99) and chicken wings ($9.99). When they arrived, the wings were the small, low-quality ones you get at Walmart and were no longer hot. The coconut shrimp was fine except the server brought out the meal version even though we requested the appetizer size. I sent the chicken wings back because I didn’t want them to shrink even smaller when reheated. It was not even a busy night; there was only one other table while we were there. When the bill came, the waiter argued that the wings “weren’t that cold,” but at least he removed them. We noticed the coconut shrimp was priced at $15.99 on our bill, which wasn’t listed on the menu. I wouldn’t go there for the food; the drinks were decent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. There are much more affordable Latin food options nearby, but for drinks in Mastic, there are worse places to go.

Excellent service and a great place. Definitely going to need more room and a system in place for this summers rush and the upcoming years. Would like to see some good music, grab-n-go convenience items, and maybe vending machines. If this marina can get a pull-up dock for people to park their boats, this place will be very amazing. The food is fresh and spectacular from the variety of items we ordered. Thank you for the great food and service today.

Best damn burger and calamari I’ve ever tried. Great atmosphere, everyone is super friendly! I can tell it’s gonna pop off when Summer hits. Love that it’s a walkable distance as well. Absolutely look forward to ordering from them again. 🙂

If you enjoy subpar food, then this is the place for you. Both my partner and I went last night. We walk in and go to the counter and placed an order for Calamari and Maryland crab cakes for appetizers. For our entrees we ordered the Glazed Salmon platter and Lobster Roll with two bottles of soda. We then paid $80 at the window and went and sat. We sat there for a good 15 minutes conversing and one of the employees walked over to our table to let us know they had no Salmon or Lobster available. Being we paid with a card we said that’s fine we will just order something else. Well the options were not alot. So we ordered a burger, fish and chips and a hot dog platter. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WE WANTED TO EAT. About 10 minutes after that our appetizers finally come out. The Calamari was so very bland and the “Maryland crab cake” was nothing more then mushy. 10 minutes into eating our apps they bring out our burger, fish and chips and hot dog platter. Like can we try getting through the apps first. Needless to say the French fries were warm and mushy and the fried cod was not cooked thoroughly it was still very doughy. My partner did enjoy his burger- because he was hungry. LOL
So yeah $80 for two to dine on a horrible “meal” no Thank You. I wouldn’t have even given them one star, but I had to in order to leave this review. I’ve never been treated like that anywhere from an owner of an establishment. No good
