Fantastic menu… My husband’s favorite is the grilled broccoli & grilled buffalo chicken tenders. We also love the keto burgers & the salads and the perfectly cooked sweet potato fries! Highly recommended anytime of the day, any day of the week!

We stopped by this gem of a place while out exploring and am so glad we did. The food was yummy and the service was spectacular. We enjoyed fried green tomatoes and burgers. Everyone was so friendly that we truly felt like we were amongst friends. The restaurant is located next to the Minnie Pearl statue so makes a great place to stop while out exploring and the town square it sits in is filled with boutiques and other places to shop and maybe even grab a sweet treat.

Look high for the sign, it’s way up on the second story. We arrived late so we thought we might get rushed in and out. Not at all. Waitress was friendly and checked on us often. We had hot ham & cheese with onion rings and hamburger with salad. All toppings and the salad were very fresh and plentiful. Onion rings were crispy out and soft inside. Burger (wasn’t asked cook temp) was well done and seasoned well. Really wanted to try the Keto Burger but waitress county answer whether the egg would be hard fried or over medium with a runny middle, which is a must for me so I just stuck with the traditional burger. Even though there was only one other patron; the sound from the kitchen was quite loud (food prep; not chatter). Not sure I’d want to dine in while it was full.

The mason jar cheeseburger: double pattie, with egg and bacon. Bacon was under cooked for me and the egg over cooked. Fries were good and burger didn’t taste bad just wasn’t to my liking. A little pricey.

The MASON JAR was not where we were intending to eat but now I am glad the other place was closed today. Service and food and atmosphere was phenomenal.
I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT – it was delicious. But better than that – I asked the server her favorite side and said Onion Rings. Wow – she did not lie. The Mason Jars Onion Rings are the best I have ever had anywhere and it is not close. Crispy breading and firm onions – they were just great.
My friend ordered the Fried Chicken Salad and was similarly impressed.
All in all everything about this place deserves the highest rating.

Got a recommendation to try out the mason jar, glad I stopped in. Place is on the square, and looks like a neat local place with real old wood floors. Fried pickles were fresh and good. The mason burger is 2 patties with a fried egg and good. The chips as a side were very good, and kinda like Bucky’s. Plenty of food. I would go back for sure.

We came on the busiest day they’ve ever had-banana puddin’festival-and the food and service was exceptional. Thank you so much!

Centerville has its historic catfish and barbecue, but the Mason Jar is possibly the best overall food in town. Nothing on the menu disappoints. Plan to top off your meal by going next door to the Local for some of the best ice cream you’ll find anywhere.

Went there with some buddies. Food was fantastic, prices reasonable, want to come back to try more. Only recommendations would give is make menu items a little more dazzle as it underestimated how good it is.

I’m from out of town and stopped there with my family who is local for some banana pudding. Cute enough place and the food looked and smelt great however one of their waitresses had a terrible attitude. Yelling at customers and even brought the other server to tears. Her behavior was awful and the owner allowed it which made my experience even worse. The tension was so high in that place amongst the staff that our family cancelled our order and left. I’m still shaking my head. Unbelievable.
