This is such a fun place to go for a chat or hang out. The soup was excellent and the matcha latte was delicious!

Stopped in and had a sandwich and a cookie. The service was fast and friendly and my food came out hot and in a short amount of time. Good atmosphere. Will definitely come back again.

I used to come here in college and loved it. The place has gone down hill . Service was slow, the toast was supposed to be gluten free. The toast was also cross contaminated with some marinara and green stuff. The green stuff looked like avocado and I have an avocado allergy. The egg was over cooked. In my opinion it was not very accommodating for people with allergies and intolerances. Not sure how this place has over 4 stars. I guess anything is good to college students when you don’t have a lot of options in the area.

The Mason Jar is a hidden gem in Cheney ✨
Delicious comfort food, great service, and a cozy, down-to-earth vibe. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to again and again.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

The Mason Jar in downtown Cheney Washington always satisfies. First the service always makes a fat bearded Polish guy feel welcome. Second the pint glass as a vessel for a Latte is very underrated and their coffee here is locally roasted by Roast house out of Spokane. The sandwiches here are all delicious but the classic breakfast sandwich is everything you need to have a good morning. They also have great free wifi if you need to get any work done on a quiet Sunday morning in the Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer. The window bar seating is ideal for vibes and people watching but be careful you will see Wings Pan and immediately want their chicken wings for lunch 10/10 howler monkey neck guy approved.

Oh my goodness, it was so yummy! I got a pumpkin latte and breakfast burrito. My husband got the classic breakfast sandwich. They were both super tasty! The biscuit on the classic was buttery and crispy, everything you hope for in a hot biscuit. We enjoyed our food and drink’s immensely. The atmosphere was also wonderful and made for a chill breakfast.

Absolutely phenomenal! This place makes the some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. It also has a great vibe in their indoor seating and outdoor seating. Recently had a Philly cheese steak and a meatball sub, and those two are some of the best of each I can think of. Their breads are amazing and their meats are also amazing. They pay attention to detail and season everything to perfection. Great place for a foodie and a great place for some coffee.

I came in to get get a coffee and to look through the book store. I was never greeted, stood at the counter for a bit while 2 men saw me walk in and stand there, they were talking, filling up the coffee beans and the other one, I couldn’t even tell you what he was doing, looked to be like nothing other than standing and talking to the other guy. The one that was filling the coffee beans got done, walked to the back and put the beans away, slowly walked towards the counter, all the while I’m staring at him, then he acknowledge me standing there. I ordered, he asked what my plans were for the day and I made the comment that I was there to check out their bookstore. He never onced mentioned to me that it was closed. I get my coffee, walk to the back and what do I see, a closed sign. Would have been nice to be told the book store wasn’t open on Mondays, actually it would have been nice to see that on the website before I even drove over there. I was not very impressed with the mason jar and not sure I will ever go back. Do better guys. Greet people as they walk in so they don’t feel like it’s an inconvenience for you to wait on us.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy to go. When I got the couple blocks back home I was super disappointed. The gravy is watery and had more onions than sausage and wasnt thick and luxurious like it should be. Total waste of money.

I’ve been coming to this coffee shop twice a week for the past four months as I do grad school. This shop has slowly become a second home! The staff are absolutely lovely, friendly as soon as I walk in the door. Not surprisingly they have my drink order memorized 🙂 I’ve seen them always more than happy to accommodate other customers and quick to fix any mistakes that happen. This coffee shop has wonderful chill vibes, perfect for studying and catching up with others. The food is a little on the pricey end, but it’s so good! My favorite sandwich is the Caprese, I also love their cinnamon raisin bagels. Favorite drink is the Mason Jar, though I always give their rotating seasonal drinks a try too! This is easily one of my favorite places in Cheney!
