All around good Valentine’s Day experience here for my boyfriend and I. Had to wait a bit for our table, but it was a busy night so I expected such.

We opted for the pre fixed menu experience and got two cocktails each – ended up spending over 400 which was a little steep. For that price I would hope for a bit more flair and maybe a more attentive server. I’ll say I was pleased in general though, the food was yummy and drinks even better. The star of the night for me was the lemon curd dessert, absolutely heavenly.

A lovely west village brunch spot offering good variety of more than typical brunch items. The place was pretty packed by the time our mains came out. Lovely location with lots of sunlight and good service, other diners enhanced the atmosphere as well.

Party of 3 had a reservation for 6:30pm on a Sunday evening in October. We had the crudo and burrata to share for the table. I had the sauteed salmon entree and it was pretty delicious. The server recommended the Perpetual Jam cocktail which was a good choice. Total including tips came to around 80-90 bucks per person. The ambience is great. It’s a neat and quiet place, but the quantity of food I thought was low, for the price. Especially the crudo plate hardly had anything. They have a large clean restroom in the back. The staff are all very warm and friendly.

Great food, ambiance and staff. I had a reservation for Friday night that I made week of. I was seated immediately. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they kept refilling my water. The swordfish was super hot. Loved the flavors, the risotto was perfect. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Service from start to finish was great! Very attentive staff all around. Food tasted good and great flavor combinations. Vibe is chill and great for groups of many sizes. Would recommend and go back.

Thoughtful, richly prepared, simple menu and unfussy, cozy, hearty decor. The staff are dressed casually and work very professionally – fast turnaround, good recommendations, care and attention put into what they do. The acoustics are phenomenal. Just loud enough to talk with a table of friends, over a small din.

Overall, the interior is superb. The service is great and the bartender was not only warm, he was so knowledgeable about great pairings to have. I enjoyed a whiskey sour (not pictured) and it was 10/10. The coupe was freezing cold which allowed me to enjoy it a while after it was made. I ordered the cod and it was seated beautifully. The cod was fresh and nicely seasoned. I would definitely come back I try other dishes if I find myself in the area

We had an AMAZING dining experience last night.

Gorgeous space, good buzz and energy, but not too loud.

Our server looked like she loved her job. Enthusiastic and happy, very friendly. Excellent service.

The food – WOW! We started with the onion focaccia bread and asparagus soup, amazing. I had the risotto and a salad, both were off the charts. My wife had the short rib, succulent and meaty with a deep rich flavor, and the carrots were delicious.

We had the olive oil almond cake. Perfect ending to the meal.

I highly recommend The Mary Lane!

The resteraunt goes for a local neighborhood vibe, but it’s clear once you sit down that it’s part of a larger corporate group. The host at the front was rude and unwelcoming. We asked for a table outside and we were told nothing was available without a reservation, despite online reservations being open and multiple tables available outside. The drinks are all premixed so there was no way for the bartender to change or customize the spiciness or ingredients and the Bloody Mary had way too much horseradish. The good overall was good so no issues there and the location is great, but the vibes a miss. Service is not attentive, drinks took awhile and they didn’t refill our glasses or ask without us flagging down a waiter. Was really hoping for a better experience.

Great food, friendly service and nice atmosphere with cool vibe in the restaurant. Cocktails, appetizers and main courses were solid – everything was presented beautifully. I was there catching up with a friend and definitely will be back when in the area. Strongly recommend the halibut and the short ribs – they were literally melting in my mouth. My only recommendation is to not make the olive oil that came with the focaccia so spicy.
