The best breakfast we’ve had in Florida since moving here a couple years ago! We were visiting St. Pete and ended up coming back every morning because it was that good.

The escargot was rich, buttery, and garlicky with perfectly toasted baguette, and the Brie croissant was insanely generous with the most perfectly flaky, buttery pastry. Truly flawless croissants!

We also had mimosas and a Bloody Mary, both excellent.

Fiona, our server, was an absolute delight!! — she even gave us a live performance of “La Vie en Rose”…. such a special treat of French culture.
The owner/chef Stéphane also came out to say hello, which was very nice. Both are originally from France, and you can really feel the authenticity and care in every detail.

We will definitely be back!! 10/10 would highly recommend!

We’re here for a wedding and stumbled on to this cute little shop. Ordered the usual breakfast fare and were treated to a lovely meal in a quaint environment. Don’t be in a hurry as everything is made to order. The nice ladies took great care of us.

Store frontage is not the best but it’s where they landed and in no way detracts from the experience you get inside.

Bread products were as fresh as you get. Coffee good.

20 minutes to get a cup of coffee and they were not that busy. And tip to staff, when you bring out drinks or food clear off the empty tables while going back to the kitchen.

Shirred eggs were terrible. Completely undercooked. We brought almost all of it home to our border collie and she loved it.

I won’t be back.

This charming and authentic cafe is the perfect place to meet friends for Brunch, treat yourself to a chill setting where you can read, and enjoy a fresh baguette with salmon, brie and avocado ( the Norwegian ) and not feel rushed. The cafe displays art for sale by local artists , bijoux ( handmade jewelry by a local french artist) and, on Saturdays LIVE french pop music sung by Fiona Frensche from 10- noon. If you want an authentic French experience, this place is it. Owner and chef, Stéphane is happy to speak French with you and she won’t hesitate to correct your Faux pas. It’s not unusual to hear her joining in on Saturdays to sing les Champs Élysées! Servers Meagan and Mary are friendly, pleasant and will help you with recommendations. Bon dégustation !

I went there last Saturday. I am French and needless to say that I strongly advised those who want to have a taste of what French pastries are to go there! The French Croissant was delicious and exactly as good as in France! The cappuccino (I am Italian blood as well) was excellent, and Stephane (the owner) kindly asked me if I wanted the coffee medium or strong. I chose strong and was not disappointed as the coffee was rich in taste! The place is so cute and quaint with such a peaceful vibe, and Stephane the owner is so friendly and makes all she can to make you feel welcomed! They also have bread, wine, French cider, and more! Highly recommended!

While visiting Treasure Island, we decided to try Marquise Cafe. It was so delicious , we went back a second time! We ordered the shirred eggs and a Brie croissant both days. The coffee was really good too. We got pain au chocolat and a cheese pastry for our afternoon coffee break-might be the best I’ve ever had, flaky, buttery yum! The service is great, loved the French music and the prices were a good value for such high quality food.

A friend raved about their Kouign Amann and Marquise coffee, so I finally tried them. I visited on a Saturday, when they have authentic French singing from 10am til noon. It was very quiet when I arrived at 11:30, so I had the pleasure of connecting with the community here to learn about their events and atmosphere that invites customers to slow, down, enjoy life! Very personable, as the French singer, Fiona Frensche, serenaded us and introduced me to other regular patrons. I met quite a few delightful people, and very much enjoyed the experience!

It’s a cute place for a quick bite. The food is good but very overpriced, in my opinion. Me and my hubby spent $50 on a simple brunch. I feel there are better options in terms of food, service, and ambiance in that price range. The shirred eggs were pretty good, so we might go there once in a while just for that.

Bonjour,
This was a delicious spot to find! We just returned from France and still in the vaca mode, so we decided to find a French breakfast place to enjoy, and boy did we ever! We had the Shirred eggs with a ham and cheese croissant; it was Better than any food we tried in Paris!! The owner is very nice and we are excited to return, go give it a try; you won’t regret it.
Au revoir…
