We stopped here on a roadtrip and were pleasantly surprised to find it. We ended up ordering burgers, fries, shakes and a BLT. The food was made to order and was really delicious. For the quality, the price was perfect

I stop here almost every month from TX to CO. This time I tried The Hideout Italian Cuisine! It is awesome! Hubs had the Italian Hoagie with French fries. I had build your own past bowl. Both 5 stars and the French fries are amazing!!

A few Bus drivers from Denver and we had burgers, milk shakes, fried pickles, Jalapeño poppers from Flatts and they were amazing! Very delicious.

We stopped here on our way back from Texas. We ate at the Hideout. The food was amazing. April the owner makes everything homemade. Her Alfredo sauce is delicious. Also, we sat at the bar and had Hailey as our bartender she is great.

Flatts has the best burgers and fries!!
Today I tried the new place right across from the bar that serves pasta, and sadly I was very disappointed. I tried the creamy pesto sauce with penne and chicken. The chicken tasted delish, but the sauce was not up to par.. and also towards the end of my meal, I found a hair that did not belong to me in my bowl. I don’t feel like the meal was worth what I paid for.

Kangaroo Coffee and Flatt’s were the two shops that we enjoyed here on our first Marketplace experience. Will definitely be back.
The atmosphere? Which one? If you sit near Kangaroo you’ll have lots of voices and sound; sit in the back near Noodle and it’s quiet. Your choice.

We usually like to park and walk around downtown Trinidad. ️ This time we saw this little food court and decided to stop and see what was inside. There is a coffee ☕ shop, a pasta & pizza spot , a grill a bar , a noodle place, a hamburger place, and a Mexican food stall. There is a good variety of food here to satisfy most taste buds. We can’t wait to see what else will be added when we visit again.

I really wanted to like Grill 14 at The Marketplace Food Court and Bar in Trinidad, but this one missed the mark for me. I ordered the Greek salad, and it was honestly the worst one I’ve had. It was absolutely soaked in dressing to the point that every bite was dripping. After a couple of bites, it was just too much to finish.
The flavors never came together, and instead of feeling fresh and balanced, it felt heavy and careless. A Greek salad should be simple and bright, and this one just wasn’t.
The service was marginal. Not rude, but not warm or attentive either. It felt rushed and disconnected, which didn’t help the overall experience.
I hope this was just an off day, because the space itself has potential. With better attention to the basics and a lighter hand in the kitchen, this could be a much better stop. For now, it’s not one I’d rush back to.
