I come here every time I’m in New Haven.. Today was NOT pleasant I spent 40 dollars on three steak and cheese along with other products. I open my sandwich my bread is completely burnt and the steak itself was burnt I couldn’t enjoy the sandwich at all. I have been calling and calling these people and haven’t been able to get through this is not right I will not be coming back..

The salad bar :fresh greens , dressing, chick peas, chicken, tomatoes, etc . You make it yourself. All the cold cut subs are excellent… the hot ones no comment. Tons of chips and snacks. Coffee and Stash tea in the morning. Lotto, soda, and juice.

Ok so I had an amazing steak n cheese sub from here about 2 months ago. So I decided to return and try some other sandwiches. So a friend and I called and ordered ahead. Grilled chicken wrap, steak n cheese and sausage n peppers subs. I was very disappointed! The size of the sub decreased, the quality of the meat appears and tastes different. My onions were overcooked almost charred. Grilled chicken was dry and overcooked as well. The sauce on sausage and peppers was very salty. Sausages were burnt on ends and dry as well. I was surprised and very disappointed. I called to complain and the owner/mgr did attempt to rectify the situation. I returned the following week to try the steak n cheese again. It was flavorful, cooked correctly yet I still say the meat has changed! I give up on the hot subs!!!

My phone number is very similar (2 digits flipped), so I get phone calls daily from people looking to place an order with this deli. Always instruct them that they have the wrong number, had one person call me 3 times they kept inputting it wrong, we had a good laugh. Sounds like a great deli, love to visit sometime, would love it more if they had a different number!! The Cheese Steak is popular.

My first time here today. Chipotle was closed down by the Health Department. Rats I guess according to another customer at the Marketa. The deli was packed with students after high school but the gentleman up front asked me if I wanted deli and he expedited my order. I would recommend doing business here.
