The dessert prices have increased recently. Last year we paid under $7 for desserts. The past couple of times, the price has been over $10. Stopped by last night for a piece of coconut cake. The Market website shows $7.25. We were charged $10.15. We understand prices have increased across the board, but $10.15 + tax + credit card fee + tip = over $12 for a small piece of cake. The cake piece has gotten smaller than the previous visits. It’s good, but not $12+ good. Sorry, The Market, but we will have to go elsewhere nearby for a sweet treat (ie: Windrush, Heron, Lolita’s, Brookshires, Marble Slab).

Let me start off by saying, should have just ate at Sonic or something. I had a better dining experience in Iraq eating MREs. Overcharge for crap we never received. Ordered potatoes, corn, and sausage with crawfish and never got them. Potatoes came after I finished 5 pounds of crawfish, and then was asked if we wanted the potatoes to go!!! Hmmmm. My wife ordered a mock tail and was charged for a margarita, no alcohol mind you. Then walk outside to leave and some old dude is pissing next to my wife’s car. He must have been waiting on his meal and bathroom line and couldn’t handle the pressure. Immediately got in the car and started spreading the word on my experience. You opened at 5:00 and still not ready for a Friday night during crawfish season, oh and we had an 11 year old at our table to go get refills and condiments, he should get the tip! Terrible, terrible, terrible. Been there twice and that was too much. Very expensive, nice part of town and received service that was no better than a summer with Jason at Camp Crystal Lake. People next to us had just drinks and had been there for at least an hour. Nope, not my cup of tea y’all! Tried to give minus on the stars

I live on this side of town right down the road from the restaurant for many years I’ve passed there and never went I’ve asked some other people that live in the area I’ll put it this way I was warned. Literally the worst food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant my wife sent two plates back. man when you can’t even make a hamburger it’s pretty bad and my wife had a different entree but they were both horrible. Although when I do go by there the vehicles parked there seems to be moderate not jumping at the seams. We had asked who’s to cook of course the owner man he needs to get out and hire that guy that’s on the TV shows save my restaurant I’m not fabricating this by far

Went in for my daughter’s birthday as she wanted seafood determined to be crawfish . Immediately seating available inside. The first hostess was not so friendly, basically threw menu on table as if we annoyed her. The second hostess was awesome. She was saving grace for the experience at this particular restaurant. We ordered 3lbs of crawfish and spinach dip. Came out pretty quick and very tasty. Corn was good. The entrees we ordered 5 minutes after crawfish took way too long. I ordered Eric’s special. The Angus (supposedly) was dry. Severely dry. Almost like chewing leather. Lima beans, same no flavor. Mash potatoes were good. Of course, I’m military, so I’ve got to see it through. I ate what I could bare. Son ordered catfish platter, he said it was OK. Daughters and spouse ordered nachos. It took almost 40 minutes to get nachos that was just downright nasty. Pulled pork had no flavor. Definitely can tell it was microwaved to melt cheese. Definitely will not go back. On the upside they offer 20% military discounts. That is huge and nice to have. Crawfish I say, was tasteful. So fried food special go here. Good luck on your food journey. If someone doesn’t ask for to go box and leaves an order of nachos on table should tell you something as restaurant. Oh well, tipped and left.If reading review, go somewhere. Don’t recommend family outings.

This is a somewhat limited review because I always go during crawfish season and I can’t bring myself to eat anything other than crawfish. They are the best in town, bar none. Always perfectly cooked and with a tremendous flavor that has the right amount of kick. They aren’t spicy for spicy’s sake, which a lot of crawfish can be. The spice plays a great role in the overall taste. Can’t recommend the crawfish highly enough

Awesome food made from scratch. Up there with the best crawfish in town during season. Easily the best kept secret outside of Ellerbe.

Ate at the market a week ago and had the catfish platter. It was delicious. The fish was crispy and flavorful so were the fries. My daughter and I split a meal since the portions were large. Service was phenomenal and their top tier liquor was great. I would definitely go back.
