This used to be My favorite place to eat. We used to eat here roughly once a week but not anymore after the last visit. So my sister-in-law and I both ordered a Reuben sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a Cuban. As soon as I got the food to our table I took pictures of them. As I always do. It didn’t taste right. So I opened up the bread. There was absolutely no sauerkraut on there and the cheese wasn’t even melted. So I took them back and was questioned like I had taken the sauerkraut out myself LOL. And the chips tasted like yesterday’s chips. My boyfriend’s Cuban sandwich was good but it was cold. So I took them back. They agreed to make the sandwiches over again but by then we were running late so I asked them to put them in a to-go box as we were pressed for time. I should have checked the sandwiches before I walked out of the store because when we came home well you can see for yourself because I enclosed a picture of that as well. I’m so glad that I had these pictures to show them. The cook might be new because I have never seen him. I’m not sure if we will be back!

Currently at 20 minutes waiting for our food. When we received it, it was medium well at best. We ordered it medium. Also, it is against health code to cook without a hair covering, which this kid was not wearing. Also maybe the girl working the register should get off her phone

I just had the special Pineapple Island Burger and it was delicious. Only complaint I have is that the fries that were to come with the burger were not cooked at same time as burger so once burger placed in to-go container, I had to wait while they cooked the fries. I also tried the house-made chips and they were great! Will definitely visit again.

My family did take out from them for the first time today. We ordered a sandwich and 2 kids meals. Nothing went right.

Upon arriving to pick up the food, I was informed they didn’t have the ingredients for the sandwich. They said they attempted to call my wife who ordered it, and someone else picked up. Her phone number was written correctly on the order and they didn’t make more than one attempt, so clearly they did not dial the number correctly.

After paying for the two kids meals, I was nearly in the parking lot when I realized the drinks were not in the bag and I needed to go back to get them from the counter.

After getting home, we find the red hot kids meal was on a piece of white bread, not a roll as one would expect. Also, the side for the other meal was missing completely.

We called them and they only offered a refund on 1 meal, despite both meals being incorrect. (They said something along the lines of 2 meals being half-correct is the same as 1 meal.) We hung up and will be initiating action via our bank.

Overall, we visit this restaurant weekly for one reason, SATISFACTION. We love the food, the staff, and the environment. You get a great meal at a great price. It is not the same old burger you get around town, the staff cares about your order. The space is immaculate, the bathrooms are immaculate, and this place is only going to get better with each addition. PROUD to have this in our hometown. Thank you Wendy and Mike!

Consistently inaccurate, overcooked food paired with staff using the same gloves to mop the floor, handle money, and pick up and place customer food on trays, along with a hostile and angry owner (Mike), it’s hard for me to ever recommend The Market Grill to anyone ever again. After placing an order for a burger and fries (with fountain drink) and a garbage plate (with fountain drink), my husband and I watched as the staff who place our food from the kitchen to the trays, did not change their gloves when mopping the floor and handling customer money/cards or touching their own hair and faces. When we got our food and started eating, both burgers were well done when we ordered medium. Our fries were burnt to a *crisp* and there were items on our food that were just missing or incorrect. We decided to throw it a way before leaving. My husband then went back to the counter to give the staff a heads up on checking their cook times and changing their gloves more often, as mot doing so is unsanitary and a health code violation. The staff then offered a refund, but couldn’t get the amount to show up accurately, the owner Mike, who was no onsite, told the employee to have us call him. So my husband does, just to end up with Mike yelling over him, saying he will no longer issue a refund for “half eaten food” and to “never come there again.” My husband reiterated that the employee offered the refund, we did not ask for it. He just informed them of the potential health code violation and to check cook times. The owner then asked for our credit information over the phone or to “send a check” instead of just talking his employee through the process of a refund. Thankfully it worked out when the owner agreed to have the employee do it and he’d walk her through it over the phone. It just had to be one of the absolutely most unprofessional experiences of our lives at this place. And it’s becauSe of this I wouldn’t recommend Market Grill. The other places, such as Hong Kong One and The Sip, are amazing. Market Grill? Not so much.

I wouldn’t even put a star on here if I had the choice. I order from here once a week – and I get the same thing because I’m on dietary restrictions for breastfeeding.

My tater tot order had substantially less than it ever does – there was 15 tater tots in the order and they charged me 4$ For this! I am a loyal customer so I called to speak to a manager and all she said was “I will talk to the cooks about that, it’s supposed to be 8oz” and then hung up on me. No offer to make it right, nothing. What a joke! This place has gone downhill fast but can get away with murder because they have no competition!

My BLT was pretty good, once I got to the counter the cashier was nice. All of the staff seemed to be nice…to each other. For such a slow time, the staff had every opportunity to make any customers feel welcomed but they just stayed behind the counters talking to each other and eating. If you want to succeed, I wouldn’t become known as “not customer friendly”, just an observation. It costs nothing to smile and say “welcome!”

I got the Buffalo chicken wrap. It was filled up well but the bottom fell apart and there was Buffalo sauce dripping everywhere! The side of homemade chips I thought was tasty and crispy, well seasoned.

Got the Cuban and it was Excellent! The sandwich is HUGE and stuffed full of sliced ham, turkey, and smoked pork (not the normal pulled pork). The roll was also a major plus! The pics I’ve attached show half of the sandwich. Will definately order again!
