We ordered birria tacos, pork pibil, empanadas and churros at the marketplace. The flavors were excellent especially when we added salsas and other condiments at the salsa bar. The churros were particularly awesome, akin to a fresh made street one. Service was nice. We had coffee and a pastry in the morning, also margaritas and lemonade from the bar.

Try getting out of a meal plan, if your stay will allow it. I am staying here at MonteCristo with my family, and have the meal plans, we have been eating all our meals together onsite, and we are all now food poisoned together. We are all currently unwell & the thought of any meal on this property, kind of makes me gag. Buying groceries off property, is an excellent money saver, maybe not time saver but if you are into quality ingredients and food- avoid all the restaurants and Market Place affiliated restaurants. They do a better job of creating a solid ambiance than considering the wellness of the people staying here.

We had breakfast at the 50’s diner in The Market and really enjoyed it. The food and service were excellent, and the coffee throughout the resort was consistently delicious.

The Market is not a traditional market in the way some travellers might expect. It is primarily focused on food and drinks, with several casual dining options rather than retail shopping. If you are looking for more grab and go or grocery style items to take back to your room, the Deli located lower on the property offers more selection.

The Market area is also where you go to catch the shuttle service, which makes it a convenient and central spot on the resort

This is a great soon to enjoy a variety of foods & Treats around the world. My fav was the Mexican, crepes, ice Cream, perfect balance, el café y el bar. The other restaurante were quite mid and tasted like hospital food (el asiático y el italiano en particular) but hard to satisfy everything ! So i get it. My fav was perfect balance & el café probably the best cause the mexican hot chocolate held do much weight! The rich cacao, gritty texture, and the warm spices made it so enjoyable. Of course I’ve had better acai/smoothies at better places & the fact I make them myself. Okai quality & Taste of freshness was not there, however I appreciated the quantity. They ejecutes the avocado toast & almond bread wonderfully.

My only beef is not the allowance of take out boxes. It felt like they were more interested in extracting every last peso from guests than providing a good experience. All in all, not bad.

Food hall on site. Able to go to a cafe, get dessert, crepes, baked goods, Mexican food, Italian food, and American food. Went with the crepes. Ordered the pepperoni and Thai chicken. Both really good. Also pictured is burrito and street taco. They find you in the hall to bring you your food. Reasonably priced. Didn’t get all inclusive package but this would be worth the add on.

A little chaotic but good variety. Every family member can find their favorites, Italian, Mexican, 50’s diner, Japanese, Gelato and crepes, deli, healthy drinks, cafe. Wish they were all open at the same time. Some wouldn’t serve breakfast, some opened at 3pm. Weird. Good food though.

Rated as a family experience and part of our stay at a sister resort, Pueblo Bonito Rose. Italian pasta was very good as was NY Cheesecake and Churros. Our boys enjoyed the milkshakes and the Crepes. Service is very good and one other plus, the blended drinks were a notch above poolside.

Food court style at the Sunset resort. Excellent food and drink options including a coffee shop, deli, Mexican food and Italian food. Bar in the middle. Tacos were amazing..there’s also a 50s diner attached. Roast beef sandwich at the deli is served hot! Quality is high.

I’m a fan of this place always have been. There’s so many options. But I love that. There’s a circular bar in the center and you can sit and relax, and the staff is awesome. So many food choices here, though, you can always find something.

The Market is a hall of different ethnic foods, including Italian, Asian, American, Mexican and more. They have tons of seating inside and outside, as well as a few other places connected (like the 50’s Diner and the After, a bar that’s 18 and older past 9pm). The service here is great and the meals are decent portion sizes at a good price. I’d recommend food, but everything we had there ended up being good. The line for Gelato after 6pm is always long, like 10 minute wait long. If you’re staying at any of the resorts, they can pick you up at 30 minutes past the hour every hour to drop you off there.
