Unfortunately, our experience this Sunday afternoon was disappointing due to the behavior of staff members working during that shift. Our group of six included individuals with a language barrier, and rather than providing assistance, the barista was noticeably rude and dismissive. At one point, she handed over a drink abruptly almost spilling it on our acquaintances shirt and instead of calling out a name or labeling it, she shouted, “Don’t drink that — it’s not yours,” which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming.
Additionally, the condition of the seating area was poor — tables were dirty, and it didn’t seem like staff were making efforts to clean up between guests. Staff members appeared disengaged, laughing among themselves rather than focusing on customer service.
We hope this feedback is helpful and encourages steps toward improving both cleanliness and customer interactions.

The WORST cafe I’ve ever met!!! Totally ruined my vacation mood. The server gave me cold food after heated, and when I ran into them for reheating, the server told me that they could not reheat because the food was eaten. How come that I know that the food is not ready without eating it??! It is so ridiculous, especially with the face without any guilty. Would not come again.

Bought one bag of popcorn and a small gf pre packaged brownie and was charged over $17. The popcorn was $6 and the brownie was absolutely not $11 as this same brownie goes everywhere else for about $3.99…. I realized the price gouge once I got back to my room. The Harvey’s popcorn is absolutely terrible. Inedible. Went in the trash after one taste.

Overpriced and bad service. Asked for bagels to not be toasted but they were, packs of butter were placed in the bag and melted everywhere. Breakfast burritos were melted to the plastic packaging, we ended up throwing them away for fear of eating the melted plastic. Only one person was working at 8am so it took a very long time in line. He was not very friendly. Front desk staff at the hotel was friendly and helped us with room credit back since we were staying here.

Only giving 2 stars because I asked the person if their mac & cheese was with white sauce or orange cheese and she said “idk, I only work here”. Also while eating the mac & cheese, the paper bowl they use is terrible. Took a scoop of mac and basically was eating paper because it scraped the bowl – had to spit out most of my bites. Will not return. I would actually like my $13 back.

The Hyatt Regency hotel was really nice. Unfortunately, the Market cafe does not meet the same expectation. The staff were rude, especially to children. The hotel offers s’mores in the evenings to the guests and when I asked for a second package for my children on our last night (after spending $130 USD on snacks for the plane ride), the woman at the counter advised me of the “policy” which is no more than 2 packages per room. When I let her know that we had only had one package, she asked if I kept my sticks from earlier in the evening (which I hadn’t) so she reluctantly gave us “the last one” to share. It certainly made my kids and I feel like a burden at then end of our 5 night stay.

Delicious croissant, egg and cheese toasted sandwich. We were sad that the Hyatt didn’t offer a breakfast buffet, but this spot still provided several satisfying choices. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast burrito.

Love the Hyatt, hate the experience at this cafe. The mixed gal working on Saturday January 17th around 6pm was insanely rude to my family and I. Based off the reviews they need to revamp their whole staff.

I’m not sure why this place has such bad reviews. The cafe is clean, super cute with a gift shop and it had a decent amount of seating. The staff were friendly and I really enjoyed my Caramel Macchiato. I didn’t try the food today, but everything looked good. Overall, it was a great experience.

I like to come here for black coffee with maybe a few pumps of syrup and their mac and cheese. Sometimes I’ll grab a bagel with cream cheese, then walk down to the water to relax. We’re located nearby and it’s nice having a cute coffee shop that offers light breakfast options and also has desserts and other snacks to grab in the fridges. Since it’s connected to a hotel, the prices are a bit steeper than your average cafe, but for the convenience I can’t complain.
