Food was really excellent. I had the blackened red fish, and it was wonderful. The blackening was fine to perfection, and the fish itself was fresh and flavorful. Also had the fried green tomatoes with crab. Really a treat. My colleague had the shrimp and grits and reported that it was great. Definitely recommend this spot in Jackson, MS.

Stopped in during happy hour (3 to 6 PM) and tried the $5 house red. I’m not a wine expert, but it was smooth, not too dry, and easy to drink.

For dinner, I ordered the braised short rib with red wine reduction, Brussels sprouts, fried onion strings, and sweet potato purée. The presentation was simple, but the flavors were exceptional. The short rib was tender enough to pull apart with a fork. The Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly and not burnt. The onion strings tasted like high quality onion rings. The sweet potato purée added just the right amount of balance. I ended up getting a second glass of wine to go with it.

Although I usually skip dessert, the meal convinced me to try one. I went with the blueberry lemon yogurt cake topped with blueberry sorbet. As an Asian, the highest compliment I can give a dessert is that it’s “not too sweet.” This one hit the mark. The cake was warm and moist, the sorbet was cold and refreshing, and the subtle flavors came together nicely. You could even see steam rising from the warm cake under the frozen sorbet.

Total bill was about $63 (main $40, wine $10, dessert $13). Worth every dollar. I’ll be back.

This place was my cup of tea!! It was calm and relaxing, had amazing vibes, the best food I have had in a very very long time, and the staff was incredible. The only down side was there was no changing table in the restroom, but the total experience made up for that! Just bring a changing pad hahah. I will DEFINITELY be coming back every time we come through here! I can’t say enough about how much I genuinely loved the food. Everything was absolutely amazing that we tried. The chicken was amazing but the steak was were it was at! The truffle fry’s were so good I could lick the bowl (but I didn’t) and the dessert was amazing too.

They have outdoor seating , which we love this time of the year!!! We didn’t know how pricey this place was till we sat down at our table , so we decided on pizzas since they were a little more affordable!!! They were AMAZING!!!! Don’t sleep on the veggie pizza , the flavor was 10/10!!! I will be back and order it !! Our waitress was very good at her job and checked on us several times!!!

The only place we could find that was open around the Fourth of July. So we were grateful, that more than coffee shops were open. The service and the ambiance were on point, however for the place to be so fancy the food in my opinion was diner quality food. While the prices weren’t like outrage, I had more flavor in that jam and toast than I did anything else. The eggs lacked flavor but were cooked perfectly, the grits had no flavor at all which was super disappointing. The wait staff raved about the grits. The chicken and waffles weren’t bad but I wouldn’t order it again, the flavor profile was basic. I wouldn’t definitely go back just for a drink and a good conversation with a plus one. But there aren’t too many things I would wya again from the menu.

It is always a pleasure to visit this location. Flesh salads, delicious gumbo, and the fried green tomatoes are what life is all about. The service was good but could have been better. If you are in the area you would be cheating yourself if you did not partake.

Tonight I tried to eat manship to go. I ordered a Cobb salad and side of salmon. My food took almost 30 mins to come out and I noticed that my side salmon was extremely small. Almost half the size of a normal piece. I kindly requested to the host, that my salmon was very small, and to see if I could he accommodated to have more. She obliged my request. And brought out another piece. I got home and realized my salad was done wrong and that my extra piece of salmon was practically raw . After biting into it, I practically gagged. I took it back to the restaurant and told them about the discrepancy. I waited any additional 20 mins for a manager to come. After she finally came, she told me “We can either remake the salmon, or give you a refund”. After all of the trouble I went through for a simple salad and salmon, I would have expected some type of incentive for my troubles. But no, the manager made excuses about why the salmon was raw, did not AT ALL acknowledge my discontentment, nor acknowledge me being inconvenience. I was not accommodated in any capacity beyond being issued a refund. So now, I wasted an 1.5 hour of my time, over raw food and bad customer service.
As a loyal customer to this place for years I am HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTED ‼️

Usually a great experience but valentines was the worst service I have had waited long with tables empty saying we had to wait till available spots outside (which i didnt mind). Ordered food waitress seemed to have forgotten we had ordered. It took the wonderful service of another waitress who was great; to notice that we were waiting in the cold only spot the heater didn’t work. Then after eating had to wait to pay for food original server forgot that too. Nice lady (i think lacey is her name i think she had red hair) noticed and got her attention then she (the original waitress) took the tip that she didnt deserve highly disappointed on valentines day. Food was cold not up to standard for price definitely could do better for 125 plus tip which i don’t mind paying for quality.
