Being prior military we have traveled the world and have eaten in many pubs. When walking in it brought us back to the small village vibe with great service. They were on it and the vibe was awesome! The power went out a couple of times and they just kept serving and were great! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will be coming again!

Lord Percival Thorne (Surveyor of Inns & Tables)
Ah! I have lately returned from an evening’s inspection of the Manchester Arms Pub, and I shall record my impressions with the candor befitting a gentleman who has both dined well and been stared down by several deceased mammals.

The moment I crossed the threshold, I found myself in what may best be described as a council chamber of the woodland aristocracy. Stags, boars, and creatures of impressive horn and solemn expression lined the walls in great number, as though convened to adjudicate my supper.

It is a bold decorative choice—one does not simply suggest the hunt here; one commemorates it vigorously. Yet I confess, I admired the audacity. The place possesses warmth, solidity, and the agreeable hum of contented diners. The chairs are sturdy, the lighting forgiving, and the mood entirely free of pretension.

My server approached with cheer and efficiency, as though determined that neither thirst nor uncertainty should plague my table. My cup was tended with diligence, inquiries were answered without fuss, and plates arrived with admirable punctuality.

Inns fall not by bad gravy alone, but by neglect. Here there was no such danger.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak with Mash Potatoes and Onion Rings, a dish that promises comfort rather than innovation—and I am pleased to report it delivered accordingly.

The steak arrived in a handsome golden crust, crisp and confident, beneath a generous tide of white gravy. The mash was buttery and obliging, a soft and steady companion. The onion rings stood at attention—crunchy halos of fried virtue—though one or two surrendered their coating with less discipline than I prefer.

It was hearty. It was satisfying. It was precisely the sort of meal one desires while seated beneath the fixed gaze of a twelve-point buck.

In summation, The Manchester Arms Pub is no timid establishment. It is robust, convivial, and entirely unapologetic in its rustic enthusiasm. I departed fortified, faintly judged by wildlife, and wholly content.

Should I return? Indeed. For where else may one dine so heartily under such attentive antlers?

Came in and sat at the bar. Went to order Shepard’s pie, but per recommendation from the awesome dude behind the bar, I ended up going with the beef stroganoff and I’m glad I did. Absolutely delicious!

Cool little spot, super chill, not too serious.

At the GICC for a conference and looking for some decent food near the hotel. Stumbled upon this locale because of the name…totally evoked jolly ole England. What a gem!! Great atmosphere. Met the owner. Cierra was a fabulous waitress the food was right out of mom’s kitchen.

The Pork Chop Alone Is Worth the Trip!

From the moment I walked into Manchester Arms in East Point, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and upscale — warm lighting, friendly faces, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to sit back and stay awhile.

But let’s talk about the star of the show: the pork chop. Hands down, one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to absolute perfection. The crust had just the right sear, locking in all that rich, smoky flavor, while the inside stayed tender and flavorful with every bite. You can tell whoever’s in that kitchen takes real pride in their craft.

Pair it with one of their jalapeno corn and brussel sprouts and you’ve got a meal that rivals anything you’d find anywhere.

If you’re anywhere near Virginia ave do yourself a favor and stop by Manchester Arms. Whether it’s for a casual dinner or a night out with friends, this place never disappoints. And seriously — don’t leave without trying the pork chop.

Manchester Arms Pub (College Park, GA)
Manchester Arms Pub is a fantastic spot in College Park with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. We were in town for Valentine’s weekend, and the experience was excellent across the board. My wife, my son, and his girlfriend all ordered different meals, and everyone was very happy with their food. Service was smooth without feeling rushed, and the overall vibe made it a great place to relax and enjoy time together. Highly recommend and would absolutely visit again if visit in the Atlanta, GA area near the airport.

We were seated upstairs which was quiet but lacked much interaction from the staff. We had to go downstairs to get any attention. The food we ordered was good. The menu looks pretty good but our food came out so fast and was moderately warm which made me feel like everything was already pre-made. I would probably go back to have a pint at the bar.

Pretty good food and service. My husband got the fish and chips and it all came out piping hot. I got beef tenderloins served on mashed potatoes and it was lukewarm. My Brussels sprouts were yummy and everything was fine other than my dish barley being warm .

I found a hidden gem. The place looks like a house. It’s my 1st time, and I will be back.

Parking: You have to park across the street.

Service: I forgot the lady name but she was friendly and helpful. She explains the menu and the food to order.

Drinks: The jalapeños margarita was on point.

Food: When you are at an Irish pub, you have to order the fish and chips. Two pieces of fish and fries were hot and delicious. It was season properly. The calamari and peppers were excellent.
I ordered a pork chop to go. It is thick.

Dessert: The bread pudding was not too sweet, which I like.

Atmosphere: It has a cozy and friendly vibe.
