Pay for parking was being worked on when we left, so we didn’t have to pay & didn’t ask for parking validation, while other reviews suggested they would validate parking. Look for the open sign it’s relatively easy to find!
Definitely a must stop eatery in Niagara!
I was visiting the falls and staying nearby when I saw this place on the map. I was happy and surprised to see a Filipino restaurant in town!
I got the Pancit Palabok and it was so well made. The noodles were well cooked and had a nice soft texture and the sauce was so flavorful. It was a pretty good portion and was filling, and the price was very reasonable, even considering the area.
I was craving ice cream and had skipped the shops in the park and in town, and I’m glad I did because their Halo-Halo more than satisfied the craving. They serve it in a nice glass too which I hadn’t seen at other Filipino spots.
The two servers were very courteous and welcoming. The service was also pretty quick too!
It’s located at a really close distance from a lot of hotels and isn’t far from the park, so if you’re staying nearby or even visiting the park from further, it’s a pretty easy walk to get here.
The restaurant itself looks unassuming from the outside, it’s part of the big apartment building, but they have a nice sign out. The inside was surprising. Once you enter from the hallway there’s a cute map with pins place by visitors and there are old Filipino posters on the walls everywhere. They have booths, tables and a bar counter. It has two floors, too, which is pretty cool! Very clean too, including the bathrooms.
Locals seem to like it here too, which is really nice to see.
I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, even if you’re not familiar with Filipino food, it’s 100% worth a try!
However, the service left much to be desired. The sign on the door said to wait to be seated, yet I stood there for minutes and no one showed me to a table. When my food arrived, the waitress didn’t give me any utensils. I thought surely she was gonna bring me a spoon and some chopsticks so I didn’t have to eat with my hands, but alas, I had to ask for them myself. To top it off, after I got and paid my check, the waitress never once said “thank you”.
I recommend spending your money elsewhere if you were visiting the Falls.
