We had the Malt Shop cater ice cream for our wedding and it was a great addition! Our guests loved it! And the Malt Shop team took care of everything. Very customizable options and they deliver it in one of their catering freezers that you get to keep for the extent of the event. No need to worry about finding a freezer to store the ice cream! Such a great team to work with and such a special touch to my wedding day.

Stopped here as a special treat for my son and I can not compliment this place enough. Staff was friendly and quick. All the menu items were very customizable. The burgers were absolutely amazing, juicy and flavorful. We tried their concretes, which were also super customizable for the perfect sweet treat.

Not only does the malt shop have fabulous ice cream with lots of choices. They have a full lunch and dinner, menu of hamburgers, hotdogs, corn, dogs, and other finger foods. It’s a little bit off the beaten path so you might not make it your first choice but go there anyway. There is lots of outside seating on a nice day or in your car on a cool day.

Nice place off the beaten path.enjoyable because it’s not a chain. Many different flavors available. There is only outdoor seating or eat in the car. We have been here many times and service is always great. Workers are cheerful. They have food here but I have only gone here for the ice cream.

My husband & I celebrated our 40th Anniversary in St. Louis, and The Malt Shop was one of the places we stopped at, for some Ice Cream. The staff was super sweet and the Ice Cream was very delicious. We ordered the Turtle treat..very very good!

We stopped by The Malt Shop for a little pick-me-up after a day of celebrating in the city. We loved the board with all the employee favorites! The concretes & sundaes were all incredible and ready in just minutes! 5 of us all got something and we were all impressed, and for right at $30 isn’t bad at all for 5 frozen treats! We will definitely be back!!!!
