In town visiting family and ended up here for dinner. I was absolutely pleased by the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Almost wish I lived in Halfway just so I could be a regular here. The prime rib was a hit and the white wine pasta with salmon was one of the best I’ve had. They also have fantastic desserts and ice cream too. Wish I had taken photos to share but I was too busy enjoying it to take them. Service was spot on as well. There is a more casual side for and a more formal dinner side plus a lounge with a full bar. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Halfway 2 nights as part of a 5 day road trip.Lucky for us this place was open and we arrived about 1/2 hour before closing. We sat at the bar for dinner. Ely, the bartender, was absolutely amazing as our server and bartender. He spoke so highly of the people in Halfway and about how much he loved living there. The food was amazing! The salad tasted so fresh and the pasta with chicken was some of the best I’ve had. We really enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and Ely.

Was excited to see that they had fried green beans on the menu. My father in law ordered the chocolate cake and stated that it was quite good. I got the daily special which was a ground beef burrito which was okay at best but was quite large in size.

I have to say…when dinner rolls taste like heaven in your mouth as you chew on them it leaves you with nothing but wishing you live in this little town. Great atmosphere and their employees are very friendly. Food is amazing and their cocktail drinks are to die for. I can’t wait to be back because this is definitely at first try.

I was there to watch a high school football game and needed something to eat. I checked out other establishments but found their customer service to be the friendliest. The burger I ordered tasted great, the meat was cooked as requested (with a bit of pink). I had the Maui Waui sherbet milkshake which I thought would be refreshing. When I got back to the game, I gave the milkshake to my wife to taste. After eating the burger, I asked my wife for the drink. She responded, “I thought you were giving it to me.” I guess it turns out it tasted pretty good. Even the other customers were friendly. If I am ever back in Halfway for another game I will be stopping by and trying out the Maui Waui milkshake.

The worst red house wine I have ever tasted, loud teenager music, loud noise from the kitchen, the steamed clams were extraordinarily ordinary and the waitress was not a bit friendly. Our one best hope for Halfway went down the drain.

Stopped here this afternoon and had lunch. I had a cheeseburger and fries… one of the best I’ve had. My wife, a vegetarian, had the wrap with fries, and my buddy, a vegetarian, had the garden burger. Our waitress was very personable and served us with a very fun spirit which made our meal that more special. Food was so good we got a desert, an apple fritter to eat there and took a carrot cake home. Kudos to the manager who came by to say hi. We definitely will be back. The Main Place is highly recommended.

We loved it! Hubby had the bacon burger, and I had the tilapia fish tacos one night. He had the bacon wrapped steak and stuffed baked potato another night, and I had the pasta with chicken. ALL SO GOOD! The side salads were beautiful and so fresh and tasty! The fries were really good! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio both nights. Oh! And we loved A Girl Named Sue beer!

We ate here on 8/31 while on a bicycle trip and it was a good place to eat with very good salads and a good beer selection. This is primarily a steak place but I can’t rate that as we didn’t have any. The service was good and prompt with all staff being friendly and happy we were there. This is a nice place to eat and it’s across the street from Pine Valley Lodge which is a plus.
