This place is in a converted house. It’s done up okay. You seat yourself and the benches are too low and our table was a little bit sticky. The music was perfect, it was a nice background but not too loud so you have to shout. The service was slow but nice. I had to ask to get my water refilled. We were going to order the charcuterie board but apparently it takes 20 min to prepare. I was glad to be told but baffled as to why that takes so long. The sandwiches were pretty good. Overall decent. Would be happy to go back but won’t go out of my way.

We were traveling and were recommended The Main Ingredient and were so happy to try. Kind and constant service. Prolific drink menu (we didnt partake so no input there). But our food was amazing, everyone ordered something different and everyone was overly impressed. Really fresh and “light” fare (besides the chips I don’t think there is a deep fried item) – and wholesomely filling. Our favorite items were the baked Mac and Cheese, the Greek salad and wrap (Olives!!) and the cheesecake. Really great value for the type of menu this is. Thanks so much for having us and we will be back!!!

My team came here for lunch and sat outside. The nearby misters and shade really helps cool down the patio area. They are very dog friendly and brought my pup a water bowl. The prices were really reasonable, the portions were good, and the taste was excellent. Our server was very polite and friendly and got out food out quickly. I will definitely be back with friends.

Just came here for the first time the other day and I’m very glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious and even though it was fairly busy when I was there the service was still very quick the wait staff is very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is excellent, especially in the outdoor seating area on a nice day which is what I did. Highly recommend!

This was a great little Cafe style restaurant. Situated in a historic home in Central Phoenix. It’s worth the drive parking is tight. But the food!
I will say it was one of the best steak salads I’ve ever had!!

Stumbled upon this gem on our way back to the airport. Good was AWESOME. Great vibe, and we happened to stop in when they had trivia going on. We ordered the hot artichoke dip which was great! For dinner we got the Chicken Cobb Salad and the BLT. Both dinners were super fresh, very flavorful and very, budget friendly. Cocktails were also very budget friendly. The Skinny Margarita was $8 and The West Coast drink was only $10. Some of the best food we have had while in AZ. Would absolutely recommend a stop in if in downtown Phoenix. Cute outdoor patio with plenty of seating and outdoor lighting, yet cozy and inviting and the inside seating had much aesthetic as it was an old house. Staff was very quick, and no long wait times for food or drinks.

I love this place. The atmosphere, the local art, the employees. It’s all just so down to earth and the food is always pleasant. It really is a perfect spot to sit down and unwind, considering even after being converted it still feels like home.

We loved our low-key lunch here. Everyone’s food was beautiful and tasted as such. We also enjoyed our drinks and the laid-back atmosphere. The highlights were the breakfast biscuit sandwich, tuna salads, and the rosemary potatoes. The only drawback was the wait for the food.

First time here, cute place, it’s in a converted house, nest set-up. A lot of awesome art on the walls. Seat yourself inside or out, and a full bar, what more could you want. The food was delicious, large portion. Took the leftover home for later. I definitely need to come back and try a few things
