The Mac House is a family owned, local restaurant that specializes in gourmet mac & cheese but we also make great fresh salads, the best creamy tomato soup, and even house made seasonal cheesecakes! We opened in 2016 and our owners, Heidi, Tara, and Dave, are here every day making sure our food exceeds our expectations. We have 3 kids who basically grew up in the restaurant and somehow still love mac and cheese. We have a lot of great options, even for your picky eaters and adults who aren’t that into mac & cheese (gasp!).We look forward to meeting you and feel free to say hi!

Needs improvement. I think out of all the kiosks the viral turkey leg may have been the best choice. We had the Mac and cheese. Spot and we were disappointed. Took a very long time. The food was warm not hot. The people are nice though. We didn’t know everything was done by a kiosks. Better order ahead of time especially on the weekends. Also it would be nice if doordash orders did not come first.

I used to get Mac House several times a month because I loved their Vegan selections. When they were over in their original location they would call and offer alternatives if they were out of something. I usually ordered a couple dishes so I could freeze some and eat it at other times. Lately they just send the product without a call. Today was my last time I will be ordering from them. I ordered 3 different dishes and Uber Eats delivered them and none of them had cheese, just the sauce. I just called to ask if they have a new recipe because it did not taste good. When I called they told me they did not have enough cheese for all three so they did not put it on any. When I said it did not taste good they just said sorry. The old Mac House would have done more than a sorry, so now I have to either throw it all away or go buy my own cheese to try to get it to taste good. Very disappointing especially since I have been a customer since they first opened. With the driver tip it is like throwing nearly $50 down the drain. They should have called me so I could have cancelled my extra dishes for the freezer, or offered a refund when I complained. Neither of those things happened so now they lost a customer and have this negative review.

Absolutely amazing. AND it was take out. My workplace ordered this for our Wednesday catered lunch this past week and everyone agreed that this place was fantastic.
I got the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Mac and the Thai Chicken Salad.
The Mac by itself was top 3 Mac and cheeses I’ve ever had. Good amount of chicken and the jerk sauce on top was phenomenal. Spicy and flavorful.
I ordered the salad just as a little extra and was blown away. By the amount of chicken, toasted cashews, and THE DRESSING. The Thai peanut dressing was perfect.
HIGHLY recommend giving this place a shot if you’ve never been.

$35.15 was my total order today. I bought the chicken bacon and ranch Mac and cheese along with the jerk chicken Mac and cheese with a side order of Philly egg rolls.
Let me start by saying that visually these dishes were unappealing. My girlfriend says that you eat with your eyes first , and that can’t be farther from the truth. I prioritize taste over how visually pleasing food is, but this didn’t even have that.
The base Mac and cheese itself was very flavorless and parts of it were gritty. The “jerk” sauce that was effortlessly drizzled on top wasn’t tangy, smoky, or flavorful. This dish was the most expensive item on my ticket and it severely underperformed.
The chicken bacon ranch Mac and cheese was decent. The dish itself is heavily dependent on the ranch that’s drizzled over it. Out of the two, this one was the far better one
Last but not least, the Philly egg rolls. They were the best thing in this order. The consistency within the roll along with the ingredients made it stand out. The shell was nice and crispy and the cheese brought it all together nicely.
I think the ideas are there for the Mac house but the execution isn’t. The dishes ultimately lacked so much flavor. Highly disappointed

The food is worth it. Me and my friend Caryn got the BBQ Mac & Cheese, The Mac Burger, Mac and cheese egg rolls, and the mac and cheese balls. Not only were we stuffed but also satisfied. We resude in Greensboro but will definitely be back.

There isn’t a thing a didn’t love during my visit. The older women (the owner I think.) manning the register help my husband and I choose what we wanted. It took a while and she didn’t rush it. She also checked in with us more than once while we were eating to insure everything was perfect. Some of the best customer service I have ever received!!! The food was also fantastic!

What an awesome place! My boyfriend loves mac n cheese, so when I saw a review of this place, I had to bring him. We went for his birthday, and the owner brought him a cupcake!

This was my first visit and very pleased!!
I asked for some information about the menu and led me to choose bacon n truffle mac n cheese and Thai peanut wings. My hostess was very polite and helpful. The wings had a great crispiness to them. The sauce exceeded expectations. Mac n cheese was packed with cheesey goodness of flavors and a nice crisp topping.
I’m coming back to try more on the menu soon!!

Ordered from the food truck. Order wait time wasn’t bad at all. We ordered Jerk Mac, egg rolls, and pimento BLT. Everything was tasty! The Jerk Mac definitely has a hot spicy tang to it. There is a nice sauce that comes with the Mac n cheese egg rolls. I would order from here again in the future.
