Amazing food, was really pleased with the quantity portions for the price we paid. Will defninantley be back to explore more items off the menu. Drinks were always topped off, service was fast and courteous can’t get enough of this place every visit beats the last. So far everything off of this menu has been so dang good it’s ridiculous.

The last time we went there, our server was not warm and attentive nor was our food spectacular. The rice and beans were so bland and dry and my daughter barely touched her carne asada tacos.
It’s a cool atmosphere and we used to love coming here.
It was average in cleanliness, service and food quality. Best thing about it was the location in South Lyon. It was not as great as our last several times.

I’ve never been here until now. It’s a favorite of family friends. The complimentary chips and salsa is SO good and the service is some of the best I’ve had in a while. I really really enjoyed my meal. A great thing as I’ve gotten pickier. Great food and service. I’ll be back

Overall they do a very good job. Service is attentive and timely. Chips are great, salsa is good, not great. I really love the Tres Steak Tacos, which are outstanding. The Enchilada Taco is good not great. Excellent margaritas.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in town but lately I’ve noticed a decline in the food. I’m not sure if it’s because their not so busy these days but I wonder how long the food is sitting around because the last few times my food did not taste fresh and I’ve woken up in the middle of the night with severe stomach pains and stuck in the bathroom. Also – the flies have been a pain in the dining area , yes please improve this!!! Not sure if I’ll be back.

I have had better Mexican food out the back of an s10 and the slip truck at work. This place is poorly lite and food is sub par at best. The wait staff is very good and very tentive to your needs. I brought home my left overs but wouldn’t feed it to my dog. I will never eat here again.

We had a horrible experience with The Lyon Cantina. We were greeted promptly and requested a booth. The host said they would make sure one was clean and would be right back, which was not a problem. We waited a good amount of time. While waiting, 2 families were seated before us that arrived well after we did and we were only a party of 2. The first family of 4 were seated at a booth right away. We waited patiently and finally were seated at a booth. While looking over the menu we waited another good amount of time hoping to be greeted by somebody. A server went by her 3 other tables around us (one which was the family that took our booth), even looked over at us, but never made sure we were taken care of. We waited to see if anyone would acknowledge us seeing this small establishment wasn’t even half full. Nobody came over. We finally had enough of the neglect and decided to walk out, the host, servers, nobody said anything to us on our way out. If you would like great service and would like to be acknowledged during your meal, I would not recommend going here.

If I could give it a negative I would, I haven’t been here in years and food was great 5 years ago. Today the family stopped in to eat and OH MY, the server got drink orders and I just got water and the glass was filthy, my husband wanted to have the server bring me another glass of water and I told him NO, because I wasn’t going to drink it. The basket the chips were in had nacho cheese all over it, the ceiling was leaking in different areas, there was dust on the light fixtures, signs, etc. I received my coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries and it was all over cooked. Sorry to say this place has gone down hill. It wasn’t busy, so they should have had hot soapy water cleaning the area that no one was sitting in. They really need Gordon Ramsey to come help! Sorry, but after driving a hour to meet up with family and have a bite to eat, my husband and I won’t return.
