Love a good burger and this place caught my attention when I was in Independence. It is a small location but the food was worth every penny. They have a little of everything on the menu and it is all made to order. I got a double cheeseburger and it was HUGE. Wife got a steak quesadilla and the peppers and onions in it were so good I can’t explain it.
They make you fresh chips while you are waiting on the food and I tell you this, whatever they season the chips with is pure gold. The flavor was incredible and it went really well with the fresh salsa that comes with it.
They don’t have a soda fountain so you have to order drinks by the bottle. Don’t let that be a deal breaker since the food is that good.
The price was perfect for the quality of food so it will not break the band. Go check them out if you are in the area!

This place is a hidden gem. They have the best street tacos and salsa in town. The prices are extremely reasonable too. $1 street tacos on Wednesdays.

I’ve been here twice. The food is…good. I won’t take that from them.
The second time I came, no one was there. They had simply chosen to step out. They left a sign saying they’d be back at 10. Doesn’t help me.
Ultimately, reliability matters. If I go all the way to your place of business, and only then do I find out that you just didn’t feel like working/serving me at that moment…that is a failure in customer service. I can’t think of many bigger failures in fact, aside from getting sick from the food or actually being assaulted.
Anyway, I can’t take the chance again that I go there and leave with an empty stomach. Sorry not sorry.

I tried the Lunch Box drive though on Noland Road for the first time. I had the tamales and steak street taco. It was very good. The man that waited on me was very friendly and pleasant. That’s a rare treat these days.

Cozy little spot tucked away on the side street. Owner and staff very friendly and hospitable. 8 would consider them a Mexican/American style eatery. They serve a variety of items from breakfast to dinner. The food was Awesome! The ingredients were Fresh and delicious, The fries were crisp and tasty . The owner takes pride in the food he serves and it shows. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal without breaking the bank.
