Food was good for the most part, only issue I had was some of my meat was cold and my macaroni was too salty. Was slightly confused on the pricing, there is a gentleman that stands by the register and tells you a price after looking over your plate. The service was wonderful, everyone was very courteous. There seems to be an issue with their AC, so they have fans going and their restrooms were in slightly bad shape. The banana pudding was amazing!

The Lunch Basket is the place to go. Their food is awesome and amazing, cooked with love, served with kindness. I had a chance to sit and talk with the owner and I must say he is a down to earth person that loves to see a smile on your face and a happy belly when you leave his establishment. They are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s between the hours of 11:00am to 6:00pm.

If you want good southern hospitality & amazing food this is the go-to spot! We traveled from Austin, Tx & it was so worth it! The food was fresh, staff was so sweet, banana pudding should be the staple for when people saying “I want banana pudding” will definitely be back if we come back to town. The food was hot and delicious, and it wasn’t too salty. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food. It is self-serve, but it is a la carte. Before getting your food, you are able to sanitize your hands and wear food serving gloves. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was clean and peaceful.

Place had good soul food. Everything was fresh and hot. Cafeteria style and selection was good if limited to “soul food”. The staff was attentive and courtious. Their facilities were very dated from when building used to be another cafeteria. The wall paper peeling, the carpet worn through, paint peeling and not particularly clean.

Love the food,Great Quality, grest taste, this review is from the Greenville ms location located in the mall…The Liver was the best i ever had..the Desserts was top notch…..The owner customer service was outstanding, if u wanted to be treated good well eating great. Visted here.. enjoyed the buffet for 24 or get u 2 meats and 2 sides, dessert drink for like 14…. Lots of room to dine..

Food was amazing!!! Just as advertised, this was down home, southern cooking from Nana house! It is set up like an old Piccadilly. I honestly can’t say enough about how delicious the food was. The service was great. The young ladies were so pleasant, kind and helpful. Very attentive to all of our needs. My ONLY complaint was the lack of air conditioning and overall cleanliness. Would I come back … YES! In fact, I would drive back here from Pearl, Mississippi just to eat. If you are driving through and want some great southern food … you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to MaMaw’s house from decades past. ENJOY!!! Oh, get the cornbread!
