Very old skool find in Windsor! They had a 55+ menu to die for and it appears they serve all day breakfast with loads of choices! When one liver and onions on the menu I’m in!! I wasn’t disappointed!! Add your own salt and pepper – but that’s the way I like it!

I recently did an inspection for the new owners (who are really nice people). They offered to treat my family out for a dinner. My wife and 3 year old son came out on a Sunday. I made sure to give some honest feed back to the owners as well. They are working to improve the food quality as well as bring in better cooks. It will take some time but im sure it will slowly get better. They don’t have access to the google page either so they cant respond. We ordered the potato skins and French onion soup for apps. The soup had good flavor, the potato skins could use a bit more seasoning. I did mention this to the owner. I had the pot roast which was excellent. Im a big guy and the portion was huge. I struggled to finish it. The garlic mash was also spot on. My wife got the half perch dinner. She enjoyed it. The little guy got a burger which of course he didn’t eat, instead decided to each my pot roast lol. I had some of the burger and it was fire. Perfectly cooked mid/mid well with the brioche bun. I haven’t had their breakfast which seems to be where most of the negative reviews come from. I wish them the best and thank you for the meal.

Visited the lumberjack with my family! 5 kids under 11, two adults and we had such a great time. The staff was accommodating and friendly , and offered many great things to keep our kids entertained! One of the staff even played a joke on the kids and offered them white crayons to colour with!
Food arrived, hot foods were hot, cold were cold. I ordered the steak and ribs naturally! This has easily been one of my favourite steaks top 10 for sure!
Escargot was delicious, not rubbery like most other restaurants.
An array of craft beers available, I tried their closest to amber beer and it hit the spot so good I had to have 2!
Greek salad, potatoes, veg all second to none! Kids prices were reasonable and half price apps were good!
This is a destination we visit again!

We struggled to get a server to take the order and when we finally got a server, he forgot to take the order to the kitchen. He was using paper. We waited an hour for food and they didn’t start making our food until we complained. And then one meal had to go back because it was incorrect. I will add that I have been here three times in two months time and the coffee is terrible.

I haven’t been to this restaurant in years and I can’t even remember why I stopped going, but honestly, I had the best clubhouse ever!! (REAL turkey, not turkey lunch meat)!
I also ordered potato skins which were almost the size of my hand!!
We ended up going there after the Windsor pride event, and they I had a rainbow layered cake made special for dessert that day, the icing was not too sweet but so delicious.
The service was quick and there were 7 of us that went. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the prices were beyond reasonable, for the amount of food that you got, none of us walked away hungry, and in fact, most of us took leftovers home!

Our server Ben was a outstanding waiter. He made it more tolerable.
Ask for eggs scrambled easy, got them hard, the flavor of the bacon, not so desirable. The shrimp had more batter than actual size. Ordered waffles. They came out extra well done. I guess all in all by the name I was looking for a Hardy flavorful breakfast.

Love coming here for brunch, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is incredibly friendly + welcoming. Heavily recommend their omelettes, the portions are worth every penny!

Neat looking Decor inside here, the food took a little long to be made, but service was good. Got the corned beef sandwich with fries, the sandwich meat tasted light and delish. I was also enjoying the slaw, had a nice spicy tang to it as well as the house made BBQ sauce I enjoyed a lot too. I’d come back by next time in town.
