I’ve lived in the area for 3 years and finally stopped here for dinner. We did not have a reservation, but we were able to quickly get a table.
We ordered some cheese garlic bread and meat ravioli as appetizers – both were very good. The garlic bread had a crispy crust with a soft fluffy center with the perfect amount of flavor. The meat ravioli was well breaded with well seasoned meat inside. Both come with marinara dipping sauce.
We built our own thin pizza with sausage and pepperoni – OH my GOSH! It was crispy and had a delicious combination of flavors. I will definitely be coming back.
And to add the cherry on top the tiramisu was cold, creamy and rich. It was the perfect way to end such a great meal.
Our waiter was phenomenal; very attentive and friendly. He took the time to have a conversation even being busy.

We love this place! Atmosphere is iconic Italian restaurant vibes. Always hopping with great energy. Service is consistently amazing and the food is incredibly delicious.

Great atmosphere and feels like a small town place. The buttered garlic shrimp had the noddles overcooked and flavors were just on The chicken Parm was unique and good. Nothing crazy but good.

The atmosphere was great as soon as we got though the door, even with a full house, and the food was even better. The staff worked well together to get food out efficiently and our cups were never empty. We got the pizza, French martini, and tiramisu. It was all fantastic.

Lucca Grill in downtown Bloomington is an old-school Italian restaurant that has a lot of character. And their food is terrific. Lucca has great pizza and they offer classic pasta dishes and sandwiches as well. Call ahead for a reservation. There is seating on the ground floor, and seating upstairs. The first floor is where the bar is located and where pizzas are being made. It’s busier than the upstairs, where there are seating options for larger groups. We love Lucca Grill.

Food is fantastic. All of it. I have not had anything here that hasn’t been delicious. The pizza is my favorite. Service is fantastic as well. The servers are great. Always happy, upbeat and knowledgeable. You can tell they enjoy working here. Love the atmosphere. Good idea to call ahead and get a reservation, they fill up fast!

My kind of place, old, true, and tested. We got there at 3:20 pm on Sunday ( they open at 3pm on Sundays) and there was only a few tables available. There thin crusted pizzas are covered in generous amounts of toppings with great flavor. Thank you Lucca Grill!
