This restaurant is a really cool refurbished stone building!! Our server was great and attentive. We ordered a few(4) drinks, two entrees (one upgraded to cheese curds side) and the wing appetizer! Everything tasted great large portions! The fries were so crisp and tasty. There is a myriad of dipping sauces to choose from if desired. We spent about $70 for a party of 2 and were fine with the price points since we had ordered so much.

So so yummy! We loved everything we had. The Pretzel appetizer is huge and buttery, my daughter LOVES the spicy pickles too. The chicken strips were the best I have had in the area, the Smokey chipotle ranch went great with them. Every plate that passed by looked amazing too. My 5 year old called it “the best meal of her life”

We love the food here, it’s consistently good. And the outside area is great for little kids to get the wiggles out while waiting for dinner or for a group of friends to play some yard games.

This is going to be my new favorite place at the lake. You always hear about those small-town-best-kept-secrets and this is THE ONE!
The atmosphere is nothing like any other place at the Lake of the Ozarks. It’s quaint in size but stellar in ambience. From the finishes and decor to the thoroughly-thought-out bar and outdoor patio, it’s absolutely top notch.
Now for the food, you can’t go wrong here. I like the unique touch of each item. I love that these aren’t items you can find anywhere else at the lake. I love that every item on the menu has been carefully crafted to ensure its uniqueness.
We had the Poutine and Tuna Tostata. My husband is not a seafood fan but was raving about the tostata. The poutine was equally as unique and delicious. You really can’t go wrong here. Try it all!!
The sound barrier between the “dining area” and patio is pretty good. I was worried it would get loud with a band outside but it really wasn’t bad at all!
The staff is friendly, helpful, and skilled. This was their opening night and not a single flaw that we could see. That’s impressive.

I have dined here at least 30 times. The food is some of the best at the Lake. The atmosphere is awesome. Brick interior with multiple tvs and seating at the cool bar. Thier chicken is the most tender I’ve ever had be it on a sandwich or the tenders. Love the spin the chef puts on everyday items! A must try here at the lake!

Had the portabella french dip sandwich and the meat was tender and had great flavor. The bun was toasted and didn’t get soggy. Their seasoned fries have great flavor and we tried a few sauces as well. The building has a modern industrial vibe with rustic touches. Everything is clean and they had a rockstar bartender that was also taking orders, running food and drinks along with neing her own bar back and it was packed. Everyone in the family loved what they got!

Decent prices and decent food. Only issue I had was our smash burgers were swimming in grease lol. I also had to change my baby but there was no changing station in the bathroom. Other than that everything was fine. Our server was nice and attentive.

Found this little gem by accident burger and a beer kinda place. Bartender was very attentive I was sitting at a table so I felt bad she had to come out from behind the bar. I didn’t want to mussel in between the regulars at the bar . Burgers were great wanted to try the special of the day but had to try one of the burgers. Didn’t disappoint me I’ll be back when I’m in town.

Lowlander just hijacked our taste buds and took them on a one-way joyride to Flavor Town, population: us, permanently.

My husband swung by to pick up takeout for us, and holy smashburgers, Batman; we were NOT ready.

Owen behind the counter was an absolute gem: friendly, quick with solid recommendations, and even tossed in a few local events we should hit up while we’re bouncing in and out of Missouri for work. Made us feel like regulars on our very first visit.

I ordered the “What’s the Big Dill” smash burger because I, too, enjoy living deliciously. People, this burger should be illegal in at least seven states. The patty? Seasoned so perfectly I’m pretty sure it whispered sweet nothings to my soul. Then they slather on dill ranch and crown it with fried pickles that crunch like gossip. The bun? Perfectly behaved: soft, light, there to hold the party together without trying to be the main character. Fries were hot, crispy, generously seasoned; basically everything you want fries to be when they grow up.

Meanwhile, my husband ordered the Portobello Prime French Dip and I have never seen a man inhale food like that. I looked up to ask for a bite and was met with an empty wrapper and a guilty finger in his mouth because he literally tried to eat faster than his own hand could keep up. Direct quote: “I think I just inhaled a sandwich and I’m not even sorry.” The au jus alone deserves its own standing ovation.

Lowlander is officially OUR place every single time we roll through Missouri (and yes, we’re already plotting how to make “multiple visits per trip” happen).

Don’t ever change, Lowlander. Don’t you dare.

Seriously good food, seriously nice people. We’re hooked. See you very, very soon.

Went for Friday night date night and once again, everything was perfect. I had one of the best burgers ever and my bf got the steak special. It was PERFECT!. I’m not a huge steak fan and after one bite of his I wish I had ordered it. This is definitely becoming a favorite
