Finally made it to Lot for lunch after hearing nothing but great things, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The quality of the meat and food across the board was outstanding. Proper, well-smoked meat done right, true American-style barbecue.
We were there with a small group of friends and sampled a bit of everything – burgers, tacos, shared plates, fries, slaw, pickles, and the ribs (unreal). Unfortunately, they were all out of wings, but honestly, what we did have more than made up for it. Every bite was quality!
The rotating selection of craft beers on tap paired perfectly with the food, the staff were super friendly, and the owner was just as welcoming. Great vibe, great atmosphere, and heaps of space and activities to keep kids of all ages entertained, including the adults.
Already looking forward to heading back soon to eat more real meat and check out the live music they run in the evenings over the weekends.

I recently went in and had a reverse seared cheeseburger. Delicious! The $15 special for a cheeseburger and chips is way better value and quality than the Golden Arches!
The pretzel with beer cheese sauce makes a great snack with a beer too.
And to top it off, they’re a pet friendly venue!

Fantastic! We were passing through and after being turned away from a local brewery who said they weren’t dog friendly, we are so happy to have found The Lot on our trip out of town. Lovely staff/owners and fantastic food. The highlight were the porter and the burnt ends! Such a lovely laid back spot to hang on a sunny afternoon.

I love meat. I love smoked meat. I freakin love BBQ smoked meat. Tasty tasty deliciousness washed down with a couple of beers. Randomly stopped in for a feed while trying to decide if I’d buy a motorcycle or not. At the moment, I’m definitely one beer an possibly half a rack of ribs away from making the right decision. Whatever that is, is up to the meat Gods now….and possibly the guy pouring beers.

Food was great although portions were a little on the lean side; owner and guy at the cashier was friendly. Great vibes. The seats and umbrella weren’t the most comfortable and the tablecloth was a little stained / dirty. The food, however, more than made up for the overall experience!

This place has a great new vibe, good food and beers on tap. Live music was a nice touch to the evening. My children are coeliac and must eat gluten free and there was plenty for them to enjoy, they loved the meat, sauces and chips. Will definitely be back for more of the vibe.

Delicious brisket burger, very prompt service and great spices on the chips. Very reasonably priced! I got my food to takeaway but there was a lovely chill atmosphere and great live country music, will definitely be back

Think of this venue as independent market stalls ob trailers or caravans on a gravelled site.
Great quality food provided when your buzzer alarms though value for money is not attractive.
They’re happy to charge you their prices but will make you stop your conversation and make you collect your food interrupting your customer experience.
