After hearing about the good food, my mother and I decided to dine at The Lost Cajun restaurant today. We ordered the Fried Seafood Platter, well worth $23. I’m very picky about were and what I eat. The food was great and our server, Kobe was EXCELLENT! He suggested items on the menu, great choice. Kobe is the type of employee that make people return to an establishment. We enjoyed our visit, that says a lot coming from me. Thank you

I have been hearing so many great things about The Lost Cajun – Byram that I had to experience it for myself. I’m not one who eats out often, but I will definitely keep returning to this great restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted… and immediately taken to my table and met just the nicest waitress. I immediately received my drink order and then within just a few minutes, here comes the Voodoo Pasta. OUTSTANDING. With few family restaurants to choose from in Byram, The Lost Cajun is a welcomed surprise… and one of THE best restaurants and food in the Jackson Metro Area

We catered my mom’s retirement party. This was one of the best decisions I could have made. The food was great and I got so many compliments but most of all my experience with the owners was amazing. They didn’t know me but they treated me like I was family. We had an amazing event.

Pricing was great also!

Excellent menu variety & service!
Update 4/14/21 1st off it was freezing in there. Waitress said its ‘always cold’ & I asked her to tell manager. It was cold outside too! Really dislike the bright fluorescent lights, why so many? Fish was ok. Menu says it’s Vietnam, waitress says USA…which is it?
were surprisingly good

Food was wonderful as it should be with the name. But the service was lacking enough for us not to return. Left a note on the receipt due to the bill being over $100 and service being lack of worth. Being a former waitress puts everything into perspective, having to constantly wave down a waitress for everything and still waiting over 30 minutes for food out of 1 other table. Other customers seemed as unhappy as with their Togo orders weren’t right. Chatting with your fellow waitresses should not interfere with service performance. This place just needs a pick-me-up in proper management.

The service is good. The dining room was clean. I hate making these reviews based on personal preference. That being said I got the oyster Poy-boy the oyster were over cooked. The gumbo was brown rue but don’t think there was any Phyfe. The fish on the menu were from Vietnam. I did not get the fish but, Though that need to be mentioned. The fried shrimp were good . If you have a need for Cajun cooking in the burbs this may be place for you .

We ate here today for my fathers 86th birthday.
Food was the best Cajun food I have had outside of New Orleans. The service was excellent. Chef came to our table to make sure we had everything we needed and offered us some free Samples.
If your looking for good food and atmosphere this is your place.
Thank you lost Cajun for a great experience.

We found this place several months back while looking for “something different” to eat.
Love the Lost Cajun in Byram.
Have not tried everything on the menu (working on it though) and have never been disappointed in anything I’ve gotten.
Crawfish are awesome.
Waitresses and food are 12/10.
