Seriously, from the moment we arrived, everything was just fantastic. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The place was sparkling clean, which I always appreciate, and every dish that came out looked like a work of art.
It’s so clear that whoever is overseeing things truly champions excellence, because the quality across the board was outstanding. And the food, oh my goodness, the food! The Bang Bang Shrimp was cooked to perfection – wonderfully crispy and served with vibrant, fresh vegetables and tender butter lettuce. And those chicken wontons? They were a revelation, with that amazing balance of creamy chicken and cream cheese, topped off with a delightful drizzle of hot buffalo sauce. Pure genius!
Honestly, it was a truly faultless dining experience from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening.
It’s definitely a sports bar so expect bar food. Great selection of drinks and has a friendly staff! Worth a try if you’re in the area.
The pizzas are the highlight — freshly baked right in front of you, loaded with fresh toppings, and available in both vegetarian and non-veg options.
The beer selection is excellent too, always crisp and fresh. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, enjoy a lively game-day atmosphere, and have a great meal. Definitely one of our favorite places to unwind.
I wanted to email them my feedback but didnt see an option. We went there for my birthday nuce because they had vegan options for my wife. Our server asked us why we were there and she told her it was my birthday and they said they would bring out a little cake or something to help us celebrate. I thought that was nice I ordered the fish and chips and it was bad… the fries were so hard and coated in salt and seasoning to the point of like rocks. The fish was also over fried and over salted as well I took one bite and pushed it away. The server asked and I told her it wasn’t edible she insisted on bringing me a new one I kept saying no that’s OK my wife had already started eating when the food first came out and at that point I just wanted to finish up. She kept saying she would have a new one made and I kept saying no and she finally walked away to help some other people. Another employee came up and asked me if everything was good I explained the issue with the meal and he took the plate and also said he would have a new one brought out. I told him as well I was fine and we didnt want it remade. He left and our server came back and said you know we can always remake something for you if it isn’t done right the first time. We sat for a little longer and my wife asked for a box and I asked for the check. In the end they didnt charge me for the fish (fair because it was overcooked, over seasoned and I only had one small bite) but they seemed to be done with us. I never got my birthday treat she didnt apologize for the bad meal (I know it wasn’t her fault but still) and they made no move or attempt to try and do anything extra (even a small gesture like comping my $5 drink). After tip I spent over $50 to watch my wife eat while I had a glass of water and a $5 cherry bomb. My birthday meal ended up being a quick microwave option later that night.
The food has definitely gone downhill. In the past I’ve enjoyed the steak salad and had the chocolate chip cookie dessert. I planned to order the same.
The steak salad was completely doused in balsamic dressing. There were far more potatoes than steak (potato salad?) and the “steak” was the lowest quality- awful flavor and consistency. I used my husband’s horseradish sour cream to cover the bad taste. Previously it was a salad of balanced flavors and delicious flank steak. Very disappointing.
My husband’s food was also very poor quality and lacked in flavor (except the dipping sauces).
We decided to not even order the dessert. We joked that it was now probably nothing more than a couple of Chips Ahoy and some whipped cream.
It seems The Loop now caters to folks who are drunk and therefore don’t care if the food is awful.
A disappointing experience and waste of money.
We sat near the kitchen and noticed throughout the evening how long food sat at the counter before it was brought out. Our food was no exception. It arrived lukewarm at best. My wife and I ordered appetizers, and the sirloin bites were not good. The ricotta cheese on my son’s pizza did not taste fresh. Chicken tenders were okay, but not warm. We debated sending food back, but decided it was likely to sit and cool at the counter like the other dishes, so there was no upside.
Our server and the staff were pleasant, but not super attentive. We enjoyed the restaurant’s atmosphere, but the food did not deliver.
