We had dinner and drinks on the rooftop patio. The service was quick and friendly. The food was good but a little pricy. There were also heaters outside which were great. The over all vibe was nice and relaxing. There was also live music that was good.

We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant during our one-night stay at the hotel. It’s a casual setup—you seat yourself. Our group of six chose a table toward the back by the window, which gave us a great view of the scenic train. It was a bit chilly, so we opted to stay indoors rather than sit outside.
The waitress greeted us promptly and handed out menus. We placed our drink and food orders shortly after. I do wish the menu offered a few more options. My daughter and I shared the buffalo flatbread, which was very tasty, though she mentioned she would’ve liked more chicken on it. My husband ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and really enjoyed it.
Overall, the place had a nice vibe—perfect for winding down the evening.

Nice view of the train.
We ate here, because there aren’t many places opened after 9pm on a Tuesday night.
My husband’s burger was overcooked.
I ordered the margarita flatbread for my kids, and they had a bite or two and then didn’t want to eat anymore.
I had the Caesar salad and it was fine.

Great location and bar with a nice view atop the Hampton Inn. Service was a bit scattered, and the food—especially the cheeseburgers—was average. Fries aren’t available, and salads cost extra. Better for drinks than a full meal, but still a pleasant spot for cocktails.

This place is such a hidden gem, it would be easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there. Perfect for cocktails overlooking Main Street, or for light dinner or snacks. The donut bites are amazingly good.
The wait staff were fantastic, I’m sorry I can’t remember the name of the man who served us, but he was really friendly, recommended cocktails to us and remembered us the second time we came and what we’d ordered.

Every person working here had a great smile- and offered great service, but the food really wasn’t very good at all. We had the BBQ chicken flatbread and the burger. The burger tasted as if it had been frozen for a couple of years (not fresh meat nor a very warm temperature at all) and the flatbread was cold and the dough wasn’t really cooked much (very soft). The cheddar cheese wasn’t even melted all of the way. The spicy /skinny margarita was excellent. So if you are going here for the view- eat somewhere else then come here for a cocktail!

The Hook & Eye staff were life savers! My family booked a stay at the Hampton Inn months in advance. Our stay ended up during a snowstorm.
Everything in town was closed for most of our stay…accept here! The staff either braved the elements or stayed at the hotel to be able to serve us. We were VERY appreciative. We ate there 3 times during our 3-day stay. I can’t thank them enough!
The staff worked hard each time we were there. And the food was great! Expecting “bar” food (which is average at best), we got some very good entrees. The burger and flatbreads were exceptionally great tasting!
If we could give them 6 stars, we would! Thank you!!!

Loved the food, drinks, and views of this Rooftop bar. Stop by to relax during the day or at night to see live music and an atmosphere that you can’t help but smile in. The bartenders were phenomenal and made some fancy looking drinks while we ordered our beers and long island ice tea! The Flatbread pizzas are delicious!
