Stopped in after walking around Stillwater one day and enjoyed drinks and excellent burger and fries. The bar and the adjoining restaurant are really beautiful, perfect for a date night or celebrating a special event with friends.

Not sure why there’s other reviews that are so bad, this place was good! Expensive yes but if you want cheap then there’s dive bars elsewhere in Stillwater. I will say the other reviews are right about service being slow, they really need to have more frequent contact with their tables. Otherwise, it’s a cool space and we really did like the cocktails!

Came and sat down at the bar. 10 minutes and no acknowledgment, so we left. 5 PM. Wasn’t busy. Staff just standing around seemingly not caring much about what they’re doing.

Drinks were okay, pricey but expected. The service was awful and so ridiculously slow. Not overly busy and several bartenders.

The happy hour was fabulous. Drink were very good and the HH menu was outstanding, especially the risotto balls and the wings!! Can’t wait to go back. Bravi.

Great atmosphere, but their service is horrible and we will not go back. When we walked in they were not very busy in either the bar or the restaurant and had 3 bartenders working. The manager acknowledged us and we thought we were going to get service, then he walked past us a couple times, then we asked if we could order something and he said “I’ll be right with you”, and finally after waiting 20 minutes he noticed we were leaving and he offered to buy a round. We ended up leaving and definitely will not return. We noticed that other tables had also not been served and have heard similar complaints from other people.

5 friends and I came here for my birthday after going to the Brick and Bourbon and being treated like our large group was a burden to add to their list. The Long Goodbye staff were all SO happy, professional, and helpful. The food and cocktails were amazing! The Skipper & The Golden Locks of Lorelai cocktails were strong, unique, and a perfect combination of flavors. They gave us a free appetizer that they “made too much of” 🙂 and I had the quail as an entree. The quail was extremely small, but incredibly flavorful. GO – You will not be disappointed!

I’ve had a couple drinks from here and both have been very good. Definitely worth the drive from mpls. Some really unique cocktails. They have a beautiful space. Love the wallpaper.

Love the ambiance. Please add a server to tbe bar! Simply too many seats for a bartender to handle alone given Stillwater gets busy weekend afternoons. There out of four times we’ve been there we left earlier because service was slow.

The long goodbye is going to be short lived if they do not get their act together
It takes 45 minutes to be waited on with 2 staff members and 4 people in the bar.
This seems to be mismanaged and another example of a Stillwater retailer/restaurant that either the owners have not real investment and have no idea what is going on daily.
Peer reviews for every restaurant/retailer/company are necessary to be successful. And proactive daily general manager creating the energy and expectation and investment of time to his people and the restaurant to make this work.
Is the general manager of the restaurant there checking on his people every day determine the interaction and performance of his servers and employees, or is he managing from a distance?
Do you want this to be a success or another closing or disappointment in Stillwater.
It is your choice owner/investor….
